I get what mb4 is saying but Bob do you really think you can replace Miles with just $592k ?

I'll answer your question with another one.

Is it necessary to have another 1,000 yard receiver?

I admire you putting your rationalization skills to work, but

A.) Miles is injury-prone and getting older

and

B.) WR just isn't that important of a position.

always an option but that's another position not getting addressed.

Thems the breaks.

What would be losing exactly though in that situation?

Said it before, HOPE and LUCK can not be our personnel strategy. UDFA's should be a bonus not a plan.

Just proving how replaceable Ausin really is. And if he isn't. No big deal. Just the nature of his position.

That reminds me, I checked the Zone earlier today to read up on the garbage Hostile has been spewing, and he hasn't posted in a couple months.

I think all those guys have there own site now.

There is a thread on the zone looking for adamjt13 and I am imagining he doesnt post at the zone anymore and is probably a sowner.

Where do you think those two are?

And yet you previously had a mock where we used the #18 pick on a WR -- Patterson.:Dunce

@CowboysNation
in 2015 the #Cowboys already have $104M committed without deals for Dez/T.Smith/Carter/Murray and the 2014 needed deals. Getting dicey.

@SportsSturm
When you have asked Ryan Cook to restructure his tiny contract, you have butchered your cap.

In 2015 Doug Free is scheduled to make $8m,
Ratliff, $7m
Austin $7m
Spears $4m
Scandrick $5m
The Livings and Bernadeau deals balloon
Witten is $5m

etc

now I wonder where the savings might come from should we need them? Not to mention that current figure is still $20m under the cap.
