Murray is pretty damn good when he is healthy.

He also provides a spark and an aspect this team just doesn't have otherwise, but still, pretty damn good running backs are pretty damn replaceable especially if they have durability issues.

Murray does provide a spark, but there are enough of these part-time players on the roster. Drafting injury prone players to make a core of a team is not too smart.

Just a quick run through and I get about 35 mils or so easily knocked off that with guys who almost assuredly wont be here (7). There will be some cap charges for releasing them, although some of that can be alleviated by releasing post June 1

Also, while I didn't go through every team there isn't much difference in the # of players teams have under contract in 2015 on the ones I did look at, the difference is we have recent long term deals with 3 or 4 really high priced guys, including Romo's new deal. Romo, Ware and Carr are not going to have a cumulative cap figure in 2015 of 55 million when 2015 actually gets here.
