Where did the back alleys stuff come from? I didn't see it in the transcript of the 911 call.

Three weeks prior to the shooting, on February 2, 2012, Zimmerman called police to report a young man peering into the windows of an empty Twin Lakes home. Zimmerman was told a police car was on the way and he waited for their arrival. By the time police arrived, the suspect had fled. On February 6, workers witnessed two young black men lingering in the yard of a Twin Lakes resident around the same time her home was burglarized. A new laptop and some gold jewelry were stolen. The next day police discovered the stolen laptop in the backpack of a young black man, which led to his arrest. Zimmerman identified this young man as the same person he had spotted peering into windows on February 2.[63]

the back alley one is something his father said, so i can't verify that beyond an angry dad expanding on the situation.
where were they found, w/martin shot? in the front of houses, or behind? i'll have to go back to the pics.

from the pic, it looks like there's just a sidewalk behind 2 rows of apartments/condos.

No. That he ran around a corner. Or that he came back, as Zimmerman stated. If Martin did run with the intent to flee, while Zimmerman was still on the phone with 911 operators for a few more minutes, how on earth did Zimmerman ever catch him?

A few thoughts...
1) Was the place where Trayvon was shot the same place as where George initially saw him?
2) If there's a sidewalk, then that's not suspicious behavior at all. One of your posts was about him not being on the sidewalk or on the street.
3) This is the first time I've really noticed pictures of the neighborhood. Was this really a "gated community?" It looks like an apartment complex, which I guess can be technically gated, but not at all what comes to mind when I hear the term "gated community."

That's not what the 911 call transcript says.
And Trayvon told his girlfriend that he had lost the man, but that he had suddenly appeared again.

1) i'm not sure but it is a good question.
2) if on the sidewalk, then not an issue at all. but zimmerman said he was walking slowly, not even trying to get out of the rain and looking in the windows of houses. from what i understand, (read today so would have to find again) zimmerman saw martin looking in that house before.
3) supposed to be gated, but it does look like a long row of condos and the back doors face each other. but since there's no street here that we can see, i would have to think they were not right next to his SUV.

it could be the sidewalk under his finger is close to where zimmerman parked and it does go behind 2 sets of condos that back up to each other. since the sidewalk is there, no big deal martin is walking down it. but if he's getting off the sidewalk onto peoples back yard and looking into windows then black, white, hispanic, martian, why?
