Trayvon Martin shooting: Zimmerman says Trayvon decked him, then began hammering him

Who's to say Trayvon wasn't acting in self-defense? How do you know Zimmerman never did anything to him? The bottom line is he knew better and he knew the cops were on their way. He should have just held tight.

Let's look at the stats:
Trayvon got suspended for 10 days from school in South Florida.
He went up to Sanford to stay with his dad.
During his time there a rash of break-ins occurred.
Zimmerman being a member of the Neighborhood Watch,was alerted of the break-ins and instructed to be on the look out for suspicious activities and naturally,strangers.
Trayvon was walking in the rain.
Zimmerman spotted him and called 911.
Zimmerman was told to end pursue,which he did.
On his way back from his vehicle,Trayvon confronted Zimmerman knocked him down and proceeded with the physical assault of Zimmerman.
Zimmerman's voice calling for help is the one on the tape,not Trayvon's.
Zimmerman shot him in self defense.
Why did the police allow Zimmerman to walk free that night?
Simple,witness account and the injures he had were consistent with his story.
Why was he then later arrested?
Because the race peddlers got involved.

I'm saying the logic doesn't work. You can't chase someone and then claim you were defending yourself after they defend themselves.

Really, it's a stupid argument, which is why I tried to bow out of it. Given Zimmerman's new story, we'll have to see if the physical evidence matches up. We keep bringing up up all these reasons that won't matter much in trial without physical evidence, see MetalHead's brain fart above.

We're going to have to see the angle of the bullet, where this took place, finger prints, etc etc, before we can draw any conclusions. It really is a pointless argument and the truth won't come out until the jury hears all the evidence. The verbal accounts of what happened don't really matter. What's going to matter is what the forensic experts, etc., say.

he didn't chase him. trayvon saw him staring at him from his vehicle and took off. zimmerman got out to see where he was going, the police said STOP. he stopped and was going back to said vehicle when trayvon confronted him.

So how do you know this? And Trayvon took off, but then confronted Zimmerman. Why didn't he just run away?

cause i've been re-reading the news reports of what happened. why didn't trayvon just run away and go home? i dunno. why did he choose to go back to confront zimmerman? dunno. but go look it up from the original news reports and you'll see that's what happened.

Why would Martin feel justified in beating a person for flowing him.

Zimmerman has been claiming that for a while now. I actually forget what happened. I kind of got tired of hearing about the whole case. None of Zimmerman's story really matters if the physical evidence doesn't add up. Personally, I don't believe Zimmerman's story. You do. I'm not sure what we're going to accomplish by debating Zimmerman's account of what happened. If you killed someone, you'd probably give a story to support yourself too--kinda like that Kai dude. How often do you see a murderer who didn't have a reason? It happens, but not very often.

He'll see some kind of time or trial, I'm almost positive. I'm just court cased out. I was a juror on fed case here in Austin and it was no walk in the park hearing the atrocities of the crimes involved... I almost hung the jury, too. But I came around.

What if he wasn't just following him, but trying to ID him and question him or detain him? Honestly, I don't know if Zimmerman's story will add up with the physical evidence. The story is secondary here. Evidence will be the primary issue here, I think.

I found the line. I guess posting mug shots of active members causes issues. As soon as you post a mug shot of a man-child all hell breaks loose. 2233 made some disparaging remarks about me. I did not threaten his family as my response. By the way, I did not believe the shot I posted was Ben. Shot in the dark until he confirmed it. Funny how things work out.
