What do the "critics" have to do with this?

We are talking about the evidence as it will be presented to a jury and those injuries and pictures don't exactly scream life threatening.

I have always said this a tough case but this latest development hurts Zimmerman more than it helps.

I will not be surprised at all if he is acquitted and I am leaning more towards a hung jury and a plea deal for probation as the final outcome.

We're not talking about a splinter here. He was attacked to the point of a broken nose and bleeding from his head. Was he supposed to wait until his brains spilled out onto the sidewalk? Would you in a similar situation? Get real.

Define "instigator"? Did Z deserve to be attacked just because he stopped or questioned Martin? He had a Constitutional right to do exactly that. If I criticize a fellow driver in Walmart's parking lot for taking up two spaces, does he have a right to kick my head in just because I initiated the encounter? Of course, these hypotheticals are based on Z's side of the story, and he could very well be lying through his teeth. If the prosecutor proves exactly that, I'll have zero sympathy for him. But the rush to judgment by the media and assorted race hustlers has been appalling.

Best post in this whole mf'n thread.

Props, you magnificent bastard.

My theory is that Martin thought that creepy, older Z was making some sort of gay pass at him, and reacted poorly.

The fact remains we don't know who attacked who, he could have gotten those injuries from martin defending himself, there are witnesses that give credence to that occurring as well.

You do realize you can attack somebody and still have the most injuries, shouldn't martin have the right to "stand his ground"

I've kicked soneones ass for far less than chasing me at night in a bad neighborhood, in the rain, while Hispanic, and a felon, carrying a weapon, and reaching in his pocket.

Maybe there's a reason Hitler jr. Was told to stay in his car? A cop questions trayvon and it lasts 4 minutes and he's sent home. Well, probably.

I agree with everything you have said here but the pendulum has swung the other way and people are rushing to judgment to prove him innocent.

You yourself have already judged that Zimmerman was "attacked"

Why would he attack TM knowing the cops were only minutes away? Indeed, who calls the cops if they intend to commit any type of crime, let alone murder?

He inflicted those injuries on himself? Again, even if Z initiated the physical part of the confrontation (doubtful), he didn't deserve to die for his poor judgment.

Anyone else find it amusing that Jiggyboi claims to be impartial and only wants the facts, but his arguments are always slanted in one direction?

So my argument that Zimmerman does not deserve Murder 2 but manslaughter 2 is slanted one way?

Have you ever known me to bite my tongue if I don't agree with something.

I think Zimmerman is guilty of acting recklessly and he should be punished, yes my arguments reflect that but I also realize this is difficult case to prosecute for various reasons so he possibly could be acquitted.

Why would Martin attack Zimmerman when he was just trying to get home?

Who attacks anybody when they are trying to get home and watch the NBA allstar game?

We do know for fact a Zimmerman followed after Martin and was upset while on the 911 call, why did he do that when he knew the cops were minutes away?

These types of questions can and will be asked by both sides.

And once again I don't think it was murder.

Interesting I did not know that, is there some kind of reckless homicide charge?

I tried to sift through it all. But what she charged him with was basically the only thing that FL would allow her to charge.

Thats not true I know for a fact she can reduce the charges to manslaughter, I just thought there were several degrees of manslaughter.

She won't though. Anything less than 2nd degree murder and she doesn't get her 20 years to life with no time served or good behavior. If she reduces to man, he's looking at 8-15 with timer served as well as good behavior, could walk out within 3. Why put all this shit fuss up for 3 stinking years? Answer: She won't

I don't agree I think thats exactly what she is angling for if he gets any time she wins under the circumstances.
