DING, DING, DING. Winner!

The homers are protecting Garrett at all costs right now. Running the ball is stupid! Unless of course, Garrett decides to start running the ball. Then it's genius!

I'm not protecting Garrett, but even with the shitty gameplan, we win big if Romo doesn't show is lazy Mexican side.

Garrett didn't throw the ints? Well f me.

There comes a point in games where an OC can protect his QB.

Garrett called the game as if Romo never made a mistake. Passing on 1st down twice and being intercepted twice.

Ever heard of milking the clock? Maybe some safe throw to restore confidence? Screens?

No, let's just fling it around the field. Someone will catch it.

Again, first down passing is historically the safest down to throw.

And we didnt give up on the run, like you and a couple otehrs suggested. Not sure why you continue to act like we did when the facts show we clearly didnt.

How exactly was the gameplan shitty doofus? They were trampling the other team and offense was as dominant as its been in quite some time.

You've yet to show me how. You keep tryping that but you haven't shown it all. By my count, we threw 48 times (47 attempts, sacked once) and we ran 27 times. We need to run the ball MORE when we have the lead. If we aren't any good at it, like you suggest, we need to get better at it.

Were the last 8 plays of the games all passes? YES or NO? If we had continued to lead the game, and not have needed to go the length of the field with no timeouts, you think we wouldnt have run the ball there?

And if two drives hadnt ended in one play possessions because of picks, are you saying none of the other plays would have been runs?

This isnt rocket science man. I know you understand basic math concepts.

We passed alot at the end because we needed to. Everyone gets that.

We should run the ball more when we had the lead. It's how you consistently win games. We didn't. Why are we throwing on 1st down with a 24 point lead in the 2nd half? Why are we throwing on 1st down the very next series after Romo throws an INT that is ran back for a TD? Know your players. Know Romo. It isn't just this game, it's the past few years. Garrett has shown he wants to throw the ball as much as possible. Romo needs to be reigned in a little. Call more run plays when we have the lead. Make third down more manageable. Take time off the clock. Play the field position game. Rely on a defense that had done it's job up to that point.

Why did we throw with a 17point lead?

What is the difference between 13 minutes in the third throwing and 10 minutes in the third and throwing?

To me it just looks like the end result is different, which makes people who dislike the coach and qb gripe like r
Crazy while leaving out the part that throwing worked up 17 with the same amount of time in the game.

Throw on 1st down... Throw the very next offensive play after an INT was ran back for a TD.

I don't understand your last sentence. I didn't leave anything out.

By the way, I'm a Romo fan. I also like Garrett as Head Coach, just not so much Garrett the Offensive Coordinator.

No one in the league should have a better feel of who and what Romo is than Jason Garrett does. Some people are acting like Garrett, Jerry Jones, and the entire Cowboy Nation were all under the impression Romo was this safe, low-risk QB and now are suddenly wondering why "Rogue" Romo is suddenly out of control. Manage your players, manage the game, and manage Romo. You're the Head Coach, it's your job.

No down is safe, no lead is safe when Tony is having one of his episodes.

There are ways to protect against a complete cluster f of a collapse.

I don't know why it's not okay to question more than just the ints.

I'm still Tony's biggest fan. I still like Garrett a lot. I just saw things that could have been avoided with play calling.

Cu specifically said why are we throwing with a 24 pt lead....

So I am asking what is the difference between throwing at that point in the game opposed to the drive before with a 17 pt lead?

I haven't re-watched the game yet. Was that the 1st INT or the 2nd? If you are saying the drive before we were up by 17 and then we were up by 24, I would think that goes to show what I'm saying. Learn how to protect a lead.

We've had two colossal blown leads. I think we, as a whole team, need to look at that and make some wholesale changes in our philosophy.

W came out of the half and threw the ball and went right up the field and scored, up20-3 throwing because it was the start of the third qtr, up 27-3 the next possession we threw the ball just like the previous possession it was picked.

U specifically said up24 why throw?

I am asking what is the difference with that much time left throwing up 17 or up 24. Not one person has given a logical response to me yet other than they are mad.

My own musing on this I wonder if in the 4th not having fiametta played a role in throwing.

Because 24 is more than 17.... ?

No, I get what you are saying. That early in the game, you keep playing your game. The 1st INT was unfortunate and somehow, Bobby fricken Carpenter makes the play of his life. By the way, great job of stopping him. Our offensive line looked like a bunch of unathletic goofballs on both INT returns.

I just want to see Garrett reign in Romo a little and establish a clock-chewing, run game when we have seemingly convincing leads.

Get your QB back in the game. He just threw 2 demoralizing ints for TDs. Safe passes. Build his confidence back up.

Especially knowing the kind of mindset he has. He's an extreme competitor. He has probably too much confidence in his abilities.

Reign him in. Take back control of the game.
