last year with the colts.

and brian gaine is getting gm interviews.

brian gaine replaced bryan broaddus here in 06. He is a parcells guy....he put together the worst crop of free agents for our team ever in 06.

all we ended up with was kosier after signing like 6 guys. Jerry bitched about that for three years...

now he is getting gm interviews.

Read on twitter that Brian Gaine was against the Dolphins signing Cameron Wake as well. lol

OP = Original Post.

Ciscowski interviewed with the Colts, but they were like "Bitch please" when it was over. That's a direct quote from someone I trust.

If we hire Monte Kiffin, I'll be very disappointed. That is a step back, as far as I'm concerned.

he is the gran daddy of the tampa 2.

if he brought rod marinelli with him to coach the line that would be a major improvement over rob ryan...not even comparable really.

now will brian shaefering kick ass.......probably not.

OP = Original Post.

.

I though OP was for Ocean Pacific swim wear that I wore in the 80's

I did read it and didnt think it was overly critical like he was of the defense.

We need to utilize our personell better and we need better fundamentals

there is absolutely no doubt he is.

I really don't think much of ciskowski either.

all of these gm and front office positions are available and nobody from the cowboys organization gets an interview?

Listen, buddy. Sounds like you need to go read Hostile's Football 101 thread on the subject and get yourself educated

theebs - what names are being tossed around to run the offense?

no idea. since the ryan thing that is all anyone has talked about.

initially we were hearing norv, cam, Carmichael.....soprano...

broaddus mentioned something that I thought makes a lot of sense, hiring soprano back as tight ends coach.

I wouldn't mind cam/norv with soprano coaching tight ends and norv bringing his rb coach from sd.

the only thing is we all know if we hire norv or lovie given the media's current stance the story will not be the team again it will be that garrett will be fired during the season and lovie or norv will take over.......so hiring a big name helps the staff but also creates an instant circus.

either way its going to be a miserable offseason and probably a miserable training camp.

I saw where he posted the ciskowski vid with babe from last summer as the reasoning our front office is sound......

no which ones he didn't post....the ones that make ciskowski come off as foolish, like these....

openly stating before the draft in 09 that they are looking for backups to build the team with.....insane....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Aln_ZHCfqw

and this wonderful tidbit about how they actually evaluated arkin as a round higher than they took him......
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YnkipY0VYI

I also have a vid somewhere I never uploaded where Tom Ciskowski when asked about the dez Bryant situation last july said its above my pay grade and I am not in on those types of personel decisions.

so I will pass on the 101 threads! Especially from a guy who said Jason Williams is the next Patrick willis.

USC's defense has sucked under his watch. It sucked at Tennesee as well, but that could've been because of the talent.

Rod Marinelli is a good name. I'd be fine with just having him as the DC, and cutting the relic Monte out of the picture altogether.

yea I have no good or bad feelings on kiffin tbh.

Lovie can coach it as well as anyone. Marinelli I think is a great line coach.

just think of the storyline if kiffin comes here and nothing really changes on offense.

you would have jon gruden's super bowl winning coordinator sitting here and gruden looking for a job.

next year is going to be an absolute circus. I am going to LA for the first time ever next year for TC and I cant wait.

Going into this draft, we already have our starting 22....

The Browns just hired someone out of our front office for a fairly high ranking position within their organization. The name escapes me, maybe someone can post it.
