Looks like you were just confused as to which portion we were talking about. I'll forgive you this time, as jesus would want. See item one for clarification.

But that's not what you said.

I don't care who you are you can't fit every animal in existence plus the food it would take to feed them for like 120 days or whatever it ended up being on a boat the size of a football field.

You stated the time on the Ark, thinking you were clever talking about the animals and how much food it would take. Not how long it was until the first mountain tops showed through the water.

And I'm the one that's confused? lol Pretty poor spin job. Even for you.

Quick google search...skim...pick out first thing you see without reading fully...top notch bible chops, exposed.

must be "check your reading comprehension at the door day" in Believer-land.

I can't divert from the fact that you can't read.

And everybody who reads this can't divert from how you got caught with your bullshitting pants down, and are now trying to squirm out of it.

And here we thought somebody with your top notch bible chops would know such an easy one as Noah's Ark. Guess not.

Unless you're sticking with that playing possum excuse. lol

Either way, I'm out. This one has run it's course. Unless of course you want to tell us about how Job parted the black sea.

Actually with my highlighting a few posts earlier all anyone can see is that you can't read. The qualifier "or whatever it ended up being" indicates that the prior number is just an estimate. And the actual amount of time is completely irrelevant to the main point, which is that there isn't a structure on earth big enough to hold two of every animal and the food necessary for their survival, no matter what length of time they were on it.

Instead of addressing the actual point, you mistakenly dug for a mistake in minutiae, and looked stupid in doing so as you criticized what was clearly marked by the surrounding text as an estimate. This is a hallmark of people who are terrible at critical-thinking and debate, and is an amateur logical debate fallacy.

I'm pleased that you are finished with this thread however, it should give people who actually have the ability to read, process, and form logical rebuttals an opportunity to post. Thanks for your time nodak.

Ok, fine. You pulled me back in for one more.

That excuse might fly for your original 120 days or whatever. Might. But when questioned by Skid, you claimed to be playing possum and changed it to a solid 150.

Sucks that you forgot the qualifer on that one. Which was the one I originally laughed at. Not your first one your're trying desperately to explain away.

I love how you argue the number instead of what actually matters, the fact that the story could not have happened. It does not matter how long Noah was on his Ark because it was a fable. You may as well try to argue what kind of cheese the moon is made out of.

Am I the only one who thinks it is fvcking stupid to even be discussing Noah's ark as some sort of barometer of whether there is a god or not? Thanks for disproving the stupid sh1t, wake me when we get to the part that matters.

So what? Say i agree with you, why does that matter? Is your argument tha because Christianity has fables there is no god?

Why would anyone believe in a book that is full of ridiculous fables, errors and contradictions? Oh wait, it’s because they fear death and need to feel special.

I guess the hundreds of prophecies that are foretold in the Bible that have been fulfilled (some very recently, relatively speaking) are all for naught because you guys have been told by some scientist that there were some inaccuracies...

What do you mean "believe in a book"? Are you saying you don't think the bible exists either?

It has "errors", contradictions, and fables because it represents the conglomeration of the viewpoints of hundreds of men through thousand of years as they struggled to understand and teach about god. God is god of the living and not the dead, therefore he needs a living religion.

We are never going to get it right, especially when we put it in a book and tell future generations to do this exactly.

Unfortunately there's not a single prophecy in the bible that has ever come true.

And of course that is your personal view of the bible. There are alot of Christians who hold it in much higher esteem. You have to forgive us atheists we never know what personal brand of Christianity each Christian has subscribed to in order to appease themselves.
