Cardinals | Kevin Kolb acquired, will sign new deal

The Arizona Cardinals have acquired QB Kevin Kolb from the Philadelphia Eagles for CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and a second round draft choice. Kolb will sign a five-year deal worth $63 million with more than $20 million in guaranteed money.
FANTASY TIP: Kolb will have a stud receiver in Larry Fitzgerald to work with, but the departure of Steve Breaston (Chiefs) leaves the team a little thin behind Fitz. Andre Roberts and Early Doucet will have to step up, assuming the Cards do not add a veteran free agent. Kolb has had time to learn the ropes of the NFL, and learn a complex offense no less, but he will have to be a quick study of Arizona's system to have a chance at paying off early on for fantasy purposes. Kolb is a high-level backup right now and has the potential to start for your squad as the season wears on. Keeper league owners should bump the Houston product up their boards a little.
