2011 Free Agency Signings

Chris chester agreed to deal w redskins for $20M over 5 years. Reunites w/old OL coach. A move I wrote about weeks ago


umm the redskins entire team is an outsider free agent. Just like most of the guys around shanahan in Denver.

Right now its about half of the 22 starters. If they didn't waste an entire offseason last year it could be more but they have 9 draft picks next year (will be more if Rogers and McIntosh have decent seasons elsewhere) so I hope this is the last time they feel the need to sign a bunch of players. 3/4 of Shannahan's offense in Denver were draft picks, but he either didn't know how or wasn't interesting in putting together a defense.

Generally speaking apart from a season or two here or there it has been the competing for 3/4th place that has ruined the rivalry.

Good signing for them, he's a solid player and still has upside...probably didnt cost anywhere near what NA will and he's several years younger

The New York Jets are in serious negotiations with free-agent CB Nnamdi Asomugha (Raiders). If they can't sign him, they could turn their attention to re-signing CB Antonio Cromartie.
