In a 3-4, the OT.

You ever watch football?

Who blocks the inside LB you know the guy who lines up over the guard.

I can't believe people are trying to make a case that the guy lined up over the OT or on his inside shoulder is blocked by somebody else it makes no sense.

Nobody is asking a guard to reach block a majority of the time on the DE.

Notice how the OT blocks the man lined up over him 90% of the time.

WTF are you talking about.

This discussion was about playing the run and Ware holding up to that pounding which he would have to do as a 4-3 end as opposed to playing more in space as 3/4 OLB.

Just so we are clear...who do you think blocks the OLB in the 3-4?

It was pretty clear in the time Ware play as recently as Sat that Penn...the OT...was blocking him.

I think you are confused as to what you are even arguing about anymore. A 4-3 DE gets blocked by a OT...a 3-4 OLB gets blocked by the OT.

No I am not, you are confused if you think the OT does no block the guy lined up over him or on his inside shoulder, just watch the video and see who is blocking the DE on run downs.

I guess the 9 pages were necessary.

Bigboi.. what are you even saying man?

Tell ya what.. watch the next game, come back, and tell me who you saw blocking Ware 90 percent of the snaps against the Eagles, ok?

If your answer isn't "Jason Peters", i'll buy ya a coke. Deal?

In your little illustration there no one blocks the ROLB. Seems to be some kind of flaw with that thinking.

We are not talking about the pass rushing, we are talking about run defense.
