Roy, that was a fumble, plain and simple. Check your inbox, I sent you a coupon code for Lens Crafters.

Again, if it was ruled not a fumble, you can challange it. Even the boys in the booth couldn't come to a consensus if it was or not.

Irrelevant whether it was ruled a fumble. As Theebs & Dbair pointed out, the refs did not declare a recovering team...

How do you know they didnt make an adjustment, and it just didnt help? Again they apparently brought up the Redskins barking out the signals to the officials, but they chose to ignore it.

Continuous whining about the officiating aside, if they made an adjustment and it didn't help, that's simply ineffective coaching. All you would need to do is change the cadence. If the Skins were doing it, and it was brought to the refs attention and they did nothing about it.. that's a major botch by Eddie boy and his crew and the league would have to discipline that crew for it. If it was really going on we'll know, because there will be consequences from it.

Sigh.. ok again, whether it was a fumble or not, my point stands that it didn't "cost" us anything. We got the ball back right after that play. I really just don't like all the whining about the officiating.. we won the freaking game, who cares. Its not an excuse. The officials also could have called about 20 holds on Doug Free that game, but they didn't.

I don't think it was "clearly" anything.. imo, his knee came down almost exactly when the ball came out. If Eddie Boy ruled that the play wasn't a fumble, that's certainly challangable. Like i said though, we got the ball right back after that anyway, so it really didn't cost us anything.

.

Your blind as a bat then, make use of Rock's coupon he sent you.

You are not undertanding this for whatever reason.

There was no reason to challenge, because the officials on the field didnt clearly rule who recovered. They would have won a challenge stating it was a fumble, they wouldnt have changed the possession.

Dude, your being ridiculous at this point. Arguing just for the sake of arguing and having no legit point to make. Just stop.

Go to as in the 3rd or 4th option?

Got it.

No.. go to guy as in safety valve. He was a guy who understood blitz reads and how to adjust and he was a comfort option for Tony, who has said as much. Again, if you people don't know this.. question your own "fandom" first.

How is it ridiculous? Did you even watch Free play?

I'd just rather not have to hear you whine like a little bitch for 2 days straight about how the refs screwed us so bad when we won the game. Give it a rest.. there will be bad calls every game, you deal with it.

Crayton was an excllent role player here, but he was never a goto option for Romo.

He was an excellent role player here.. and that's all he had to be. He was a comfort zone for Tony, a guy who when Tony was under fire he could always go to because he always knew where he'd be. Again, Tony has said this himself so if you arn't familiar maybe read up on some Cowboys news before you act like a know it all kid.

Crayton. "Go to" guy.

lol

The guy was always the third at best option in our offense, who often benefited when Romo would improvise, because he'd find a vacant underneath zone and squat in it to make a play.

The only thing "go to" about Crayton was his failed role of #2 receiver going to his head, and him running his mouth like he was John Taylor opposite Jerry Rice.

Thank you for backing up my argument.. as i said before, Crayton was a safety valve for Romo because he always knew where he would be and Tony felt more comfortable with Crayton in the game. Again, this is something Tony has said himself and is why he didn't want Crayton gone. Glad we're all on the same page here.

So according to you, a "safety valve" = go to guy?
