Zimmerman is 5'9 190 at the time of the altercation. Martin was 6'2" 180 at the time of the altercation. Lets not act like GZ followed an 8 year old around the neighborhood.
And by both Zimmermann and Trayvons girlfriends account, it was Trayvon that started the questioning.
Under 18 still a child. My understanding is just fine, I just don't draw the same conclusions you do.

According to call logs, Trayvon called his girlfriend at 6:29 as he was leaving 711.
Zimmermann called the police reporting Martin's suspicious behavior at 7:09.
Its approxmately 1 mile from where Martin was staying to the 711.
Kind of supports Zimmermanns allegations Trayvon was just standing around, suspiciously in the rain no less.

The prosecutions best witness told a lot of lies after the incident, including to Trayvons own family.
Defense builds its cases on pointing out why a witness isn't credible that's singling out their client. If the jury believes that this girl embellishes or flat out lies about events, even if they seem "harmless" and she's effortlessly made those lies part of her day-to-day, then they will have reasonable doubt that she's portraying events correctly.
Just a fucking horrible witness for the prosecution. Am I crazy for thinking this case is falling apart? Where is the fucking evidence? I don't mean the bullet wound, shell casing, etc. I mean where is the evidence that will PROVE this was 2nd degree murder?

There is no case other than self defense.
They cannot prove that Zimmerman purposely followed Martin with INTENT to murder/harm,none.
This case is a joke,even Adam Dershowitz(sp?) thinks that any self respecting judge would toss this "case" in the trashcan.

Or just get your head slammed repeatedly into concrete after someone attacks you unprovoked.
I love how it is okay to attack someone for following you, but unreasonable to shoot someone for attacking you (and people want to act like the laws are wrong, or maybe they just think that blacks should be allowed to physically asault anyone they suspect of possible racism.)
