Kemp is a scum bag and he was pimped by Fox. Some folks in Georgia said they supported Kemp because of how he handled the lock downs and I can see it, to some extent.

Kemp is claining there was no election fraud and he's hung his hat on that premise. The interetsting things is that Majorie Taylor Green has stated that her ex-husband went to vote on election day and was told he had already voted by mail in ballot. I'd bet this has happened to a shit ton of people and noone has even given it a look for fear of what they might find that doesn't fit the narrative. Disgraceful.
There was extensive election fraud, and Kemp and the Sec of State both know it, and actively participated in it. They both have ties to China and the sham Dominion voting machines.

I'm sure Kemp will be the Rino establishment knight in shining armor come 2028, but there's no way he'll get my vote in a primary and if he wins the primary I will vote Libertarian. The only reason I voted for him for Governor the last time was to keep the Communist fat slob Abrams out of office.

I don't care what party a politician belongs to or what position they hold, conducting anything but personal family business using an alias should be a crime for anyone who holds office. This is how these clowns hide their corruption and avoid FOIA requests. Obama did it, and now Biden has done it too. what were they hiding?

Fani Willis's case is going to get moved to federal courts eventually. Mark Meadows' motion to take this case away from Georgia and get it dismissed seems solid to me. I think of the 18 co-defendants with Trump, many of the indictments will get thrown out. It could be only Trump and Giuliani will have to face trial.

I wish Trump could get himself better lawyers, but I hear no one wants to represent him because he is a bad client and does not listen to his attorneys. I believe he could get his case thrown out too but his lawyers seem slow to act. The fact is Fani Willis cannot prove Trump knew he was lying when he made claims of voter fraud. Neither can Jack Smith, so why waste time in the courts? The DC judge will never dismiss the case because she has already presumed Trump's guilt. But perhaps a federal judge in another district will be more inclined to face the facts.

I get why Trump is skipping the debate. He knows all the other candidates will just attack him. But is that so unusual for a front runner? Trump is going to have to face this eventually if he is the nominee so he may as well get it out of the way now.

I hear Trump supporters say he doesn't need the debates because he is so far ahead and that he was already president so there is no need for him to debate. These are not good excuses, IMO. Is he planning on skipping the debate with the eventual Democrat nominee?

I think it would be good for him to do the debate and talk about something else other than bashing Ron DeSantis and the stolen election. When Trump ran in 2016 he was falling behind during the summer until KellyAnn Conway took over his campaign and got him to talk about issues instead of bashing Gold Star parents. Once he changed his campaign message his popularity grew. He needs to do that again.

Biden people have already said he wont be debating anybody and IIRC they said in their Dem primary or beyond.

On a more serious note, debates should be mandatory and they should be moderated by non-partisan people.

The country has a right to hear these people make cases for why he/she should be the leader of this country (or in high offices) and if we cannot, IMO those people should be barred from running for office. MANY Dem candidates have refused to do opponent debates (of any kind) in recent years, as they know they do not have any real platform to run on. They don't have any successes they can point to. They don't have any solid ideas on how to move forward, because they all want one thing- ABSOLUTE CONTROL OVER THE POPULATION. They want and crave extreme Marxism, and they know that won't fly with the majority of voters.

Do you really believe Biden will be the nominee? The Dems are planning a bait and switch. There is no way Biden is the nominee at 81 years old. And Imagine Biden as president and Kamala as VP with him entering office nearing 82 and leaving at 86. There is no way he run in 2024. The debate will be with Gavin Newsome.

Definitely, if there is going to be a debate then it should be moderated by objective, non-partisan people. But where do you find those in this day and age?

It's only about, why give them exposure. Without Trump there, nobody's watching. He's disallowing them a platform at his expense.
Whether he is there is not every Republican on that stage will be attacking him for all his indictments, investigations and other problems, and now for also skipping the debate. The media will tune in and amplify what is said even if only 2 people watch. Trump cannot run away from himself, which is what he is doing.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Newsome is not electable either. His record in California would be eaten alive by anyone on the R side.

So he'd refuse to debate too.

Not on the networks or cable news, that's for sure
