I'll believe it when I see it.

Newsome is not electable either. His record in California would be eaten alive by anyone on the R side.

So he'd refuse to debate too.

Newsome is a moron. Whenever I hear him speak I am astonished at how stupid he sounds. I felt the same way I first heard Elizabeth Warren speak. Let them talk for a few minutes and you realize these are brainless twits.

However, by the time the media is done with Newsome, he will be the most intelligent man in America with an IQ higher than Einstein. All we will hear about is California's robust economy, budget surplus, and plans for a fully sustainable energy program, blah, blah blah. Before the election in 2024, Newsome will cure cancer, end hunger in Bangladesh, and will have invented rocket science.

I do not trust this guy. His talk does not match his miniscule record.

why, can you give details why you feel this way?

Nobody deserves absolute trust and everyone should be constantly scrutinized who holds or aspires to positions of power but writing this guy off at this point seems counter productive and premature

I love the way the guy speaks, he seems genuine, is highly intelligent and I agree with most of his messaging and where he lacks in experience, I think he can more than make up for in aptitude and logical analysis

Unless he proves to be a complete psychopath who was lying the entire time to lull us into supporting him where he does an about face if elected, I think he makes a great candidate and I'd vote for him in a heart beat.

If more people ran with his mentality and got elected, we'd see some much needed improvements in this country

Liked him a lot, but this is curious and concerning.

To my knowledge the scholarship didnt come with an obligation serve the Soros family interests so unless the money influenced him in some way hypocritically to where he claims to stand now, whats the harm?

You'd take Soros money all damn day if you could if it came with no strings attached and I would too if for no other reason than so I could use the money to fight the extremes his brother is rumored to support

Actually Yim, no, I wouldn't take a dime from anything to do with Soros.

The man is fucking evil incarnate.

it was his brother, not George and if you were offered 90K at the age of 25, you'd be all over it, so cut the nonsense

and who gives a damn, it doesnt and shouldn't negate him as a candidate (unless taking that money required him to do something that was antithetical to who he claims to be), its these kind of absurd qualifiers that keep rational people from running for office

he may prove to be another psycho but so far he's been awesome and refreshing and we should all hear him out and if legit, get on board with what he's preaching

I said it was curious and concerning. I didnt say it should negate him as a candidate.

According to the article he already had a couple million dollars, so not sure why he was in need of a Soros family scholarship.

I could have somewhat potentially believed him had he said he took the money without knowing about the family and their history etc etc, but he didn't say that.

I still like a lot of what he has to say, but this (and potentially other info like this) probably needs to be vetted.

And no Amigo, I wouldn't have taken any Soros family money at age 25, so cut your nonsense.

I am not writing him off. I am not writing any of the Republican candidates off. I will give them all a chance to convince me. But Ramaswamy basically came out of the woodwork and I need to see more from him to convince me he is for real. Talking a good game comes easy for some people. Republicans in particular seem to be good at sounding like conservatives, then when they get elected they go along with the RINOs.

I cannot tell you how fake these charges from Willis are. This is a show indictment and they are going way too far. Requiring bail for people like Jenna Ellis is asinine. The mug shots for Trump and others is pure politics.

The charges themselves are complete nonsense. The claim that all these 18 defendants lied because they claimed voter fraud is unprovable. No one, in 2020, could have made a statement that there was no voter fraud. There were dozens of reports of voter fraud, and while Georgia claims they investigated the details of these investigations are sketchy at best. What happened in Georgia, and other states, in 202 happened in Hawaii in 1960. In fact, Trump's lawyers used the Hawaii case as precedent for their efforts to appoint alternate electors in 2020 if Trump was successful in getting the courts to order investigations of voting irregularities.

The irony is these charges are made in Georgia, the same state where Stacy Abrams accused Brian Kemp of stealing the election by suppressing the black vote. Abrams stated dozens of times that the election was stolen despite evidence showing more blacks voted in her election than in past elections. Abrams concession was basically that Kemp would be governor but not because he won the election, just like Trump and his co-defendants.

The fact that a judge would go along with any of this garbage, even after the grand jury foreperson went on TV and revealed serious bias against Trump and others tells us how corrupt our justice system has become. The judge should dismiss this case with prejudice. But the judge and jury will certainly be biased and will force this trial to a conviction.

Fulton and DeKalb counties, along with the City of Atlanta are the embodiment of pure corruption through and through. Their county and city officials are constantly involved in all sorts of corruption, many have been charged with felonies or other crimes. Voter fraud has been rampant in these districts for decades. The city is overridden with crime and poverty, its the typical democrat led shitpile.

lol, yeah you would

Its easy to grand stand knowing it would never happen but if for some bizarro reason he showed up on this forum and awarded dbair $1,000,000 for simply being this sites biggest blowhard with no strings attached, you'd take it. You'd probably never admit you did, but you would in a heartbeat

and you'd be a fool not to, if for no other reason than you could use his money to fight him or give to a charity or buy a new boat because there is nothing wrong with taking a fools money without strings attached

If he was requiring you to say or do something against your beliefs in exchange for said money, then I'd buy your stance

Some of us have principles Yimmer.

I know who he is and what he is about and I would never take his money or any other support from him. He's literally the worst human being on the earth and I still cannot believe someone hasn't taken him out.

I admittedly didn't watch, although I am sure I will start watching the clips this morning.

But the first things I read today on FOX News were about how awful they thought Ramaswamy (because he was too mean and "smart alecky") and how Nikki Haley and Chris Christie were "winners". It was so bad for Christie that fucktard Brett Baier literally had to beg the crowd to stop booing him.

FOX News now hates real conservatives, so I am not the least bit surprised.

Meanwhile, Trump's interview with Tucker got over 100 million views. https://amgreatness.com/2023/08/23/trump-triumphant-again/
