Damn, guys... This Stretch Smith on ESPN who has bashed Ryan since about November and said we needed to go to the 43, then called the Kiffin hire before Ryan was even fired, is now saying he's not even sure Garrett is coming back. Says he's on the fence about it.

That's not entirely what he said.

To be clear, he said he didn't think he would be but anything can happen.

And more importantly he said the only thing that needed to be changed here was the defense and he said that was upgraded with kiffin. Said the offense was well run and didn't need all these changes.

Mosley and Galloway refused to accept that because all they know how to do is blame and be negative. Nothing else. Galloway couldn't accept that the offense was ok and was complaining that romo should be running around like Russell Wilson because he is the same type of player but that red j was holding him back from doing that.

Those guys are retarded. Galloway is a straight up goof and Mosley plays right along. They kept this crap up and then Mosley had a list of names that were in line to take over for Garrett and I just turned it off, I couldn't take anymore.

The reaction when smith said something they didn't want to hear way classic.

Oh and they spent a segment complaining that no one at valley ranch yells at romo and they néed someone to yell at him.

This was there rational for firing wade, he didn't jump people's butts enough.....

And I'm on record as saying I think Garrett should be replaced as HC (and have been for weeks) but I still dont see anything wrong with the playcalling that a good OL wouldnt correct.

Bad OL= bad play results, and it has nothing to do with the "playcalling"

Eh, no big deal and I don't expect Garrett to go anywhere myself, but he did say just what I said he did...

And yes, it's true that Galloway and Mosley didn't agree that the offense was just fine. How could they? It obviously wasn't until the last few weeks. It actually was worse than the defense most of the year. I really don't know where Smith is coming from on that one.

As far as someone yelling at Romo, Galloway and Mosley both love Romo but they ask if anyone is truly tough enough with him. You know, like Parcells was. Not just for the smell of it, but to help him.

As far as the candidates if Garrett were gone, they only mentioned Gruden and Holmgren. Stretch seemed more favorable towards Holmgren of the two.

Exactly. I'm a huge Romo lover, but Parcells was right about him needing to be reigned in a bit. He hasn't had adequate coaching since Peyton and Sparano left.

Let me ask you this.

would you hire jon gruden? Do you think he is a smart tough football coach?

just to update more confusing and endless speculation.

David moore was just on with mike doocy on fox 4 and he said he thinks callahan will call plays.

He said there has been no line in the sand drawn on john garrett. Said the only thing that would cause those changes is if they go outside the organization for an offensive coordinator because a new oc will not want garrett as the tight ends coach/passing game coordinator.....will want his own people.

he didnt speculate on who could be brought in.

Is this some Hostilian set up question where you're going to paste a quote about how Gruden thinks Garrett is the best coach on Earth?

Gruden is an excellent coach, so if the goal here is to win a Super Bowl, then yes, I think I want a coach who can help us accomplish said goal.

Offense was well run? Fuck.

If Dallas played the the second half similarly to how they played the first, they would have been the worst offense in the NFL.

I can't believe people willingly gloss over how awful the team was to start nearly every week simply because they made up ground and were in games at the end.

yes it is.

Stretch smith said on with galloway today that Gruden told him last year that wade wilson is one of the smartest football minds he has ever met and is an excellent coach.

tfwiw.

i know right.

they should summons everyone on offense, players and coaches to valley ranch then lock the doors and burn down the building.

thats how much the garrett sux....also its cold here, i think that is either john garrett or wade wilsons fault.
