1st of all, dez, call of duty uses fully auto guns. so you're already making an improper comparison and simply judging the gun cause it "looks" mean.

the AR-15 is a semi-automatic gun that fires a .223 or a .308. they are used for hunting whether you like it or not.they are also used in competitions and the like. why? people like to fire the rifle is all.

If you can't kill a deer with 3-4 shots the deer will be gone, why wouldn't need more shots? There isn't a need for a mag to have more the 5-10 shots.
Do you own one of these? what do you use it for?

also, may pistols can hold 17+ rounds in the mag - do we outlaw those now too? hell, if you're gonna get panties in a wad over the types of guns committed in crimes, i would think since handguns blow everything else away, you'd be more focused on that.

what facts man? I still haven't seen the argument made for necessity of assault weapons. debunked the whole "who needs a big tv argument" a while back.

Plus I'm not arguing for gun control I just want you guys to give something resembling a coherent argument here.

Doesn't appear that gun-control laws actually control gun-related crime. How bout you address that, instead of claiming we only want assault rifles so we can try to shoot down a stealth bomber.

Maybe if 88% of Americans didn't feel the need to own a handgun that number would be a lot lower. Canadians can own handguns yet the % is a lot lower.
