Kinda think that is the plan. I dont believe 9/11 was planned by our government. but i do believe they have taken advantage of it to institute the kind of police state that those in power would prefer. The Patriot act allows them to basically shred the constitution in the name of national security and all is forgiven.

We trained these terrorists. You do realize that dont you?? the government NEEDS a bad guy in order to trample the rights of the tax payers. North Korea is the new bad guy. Ever notice how they are painting them as the new bad guy in movies and such. If we didnt have a boogie man, the average American might stop to wonder why taxes are so high, gas keeps climbing, and why auto makers can charge an extra 20% yearly for production in a plant that they built 15 years ago. World peace is not good for government in general.

IM not going to go that far. Because if it ever came out, there would be a mass revolt and you would have to think the government knows that. But I will agree that they didnt do enough to stop it. And the government actively seeks to make sure that these things will happen from time to time. the easiest way to justify irrational reactions by ones self, is to blame it on the actions of others.

I don't think we should give up all of our guns, but there's no reason why anyone needs a gun with a 20 or 40 round MAGAZINE.

I've always thought that about assault weapons. If we were about to be invaded by the North Koreans, then I wouldn't be against them. We haven't been invaded since the 1700's though.
