Yep. But with Clemons with ACL and niether Avril or the guy they drafted #1 last yr (the pass rusher) being good vs the run, Bennett may be useful for them.

Just read some Tampa fans thoughts on it, they threw the guy under the bus though.

Very telling that he could manage only a 1yr deal.

Raiders bring in Nick Roach from Bears

Bears linebacker Nick Roach might have found a chance to play in the middle, for a team with a need there.

According to Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times, Roach has agreed to join the Raiders.

He looked good in a four-game stint replacing Brian Urlacher, and there’s probably a vacancy inside with the Raiders, since they’re expected to release Rolando McClain.

Roach fits with the profile of good, solid players the Raiders have brought in, though they don’t have the kind of cap room to make major changes.

Surprised on roach. He must have been to expensive or wanted to play inside only.

I'm hearing Nick Roach to Oakland. Not one of my best sources but I trust him. We were navy seals together.

Albert breer tweeted that ray Lewis couldn't pull the trigger on Dallas four years ago so it will be interesting to see if Ed reed does on Houston now.

What the hell is he talking about? When was Lewis offered a deal here?

I asked him but he never responds to anything.

All I remember was either Deion or Michael (they all look alike) trying to sell the Cowboys on him when Ray was on some NFL Network panel. They kept calling him a Cowboy or whatever. I don't remember the team themselves really having interest. Just rumors we were.

Elvis Dummerville and Brandon Lloyd are both reducing their salaries to stay with their teams.

I don't get it. WHY ARENT THE PATRIOTS AND BRONCOS JUST TURNING SALARIES INTO SINGING BONUSES AND GUARANTEEING FUTURE DEALS?

i dont get it from dumervil.

i guess he saw what other DEs were getting and decided he'd stay put

Yea, no way anyone pays him 8 million this year anywhere else so it makes sense to stay.

They are going to do some serious winning there also so that plays a part.

.....so....I know I was against it before but I think I set a ceiling on Spencer of 8 mil.

Why aren't we getting him a long term deal right now? DEs have never been more undervalued.

Or corners. Spending $10 million on Carr looks silly now.

well it was right last season. obviously something happened and big money deals are way down. But Carr and Finnegan went for what they went for.
