I saw that, but I also read NE offered 2yrs 10 mils, and he signed for 2yrs 12 mils?

If thats true, then Welker really walked for peanuts.

Honestly if I was Brady I wouldnt care that much. Welker is almost single handedly (no pun intended) responsible for them losing the super bowl the year befoe last, and had a major impact on them losing to Baltimore this past yr. Really bad drops both games.

No big deal. He will not see nearly as many touches as he did with Brady. They got Black (Thomas) and Decker. He'll be a nice compliment to them though.

He'll be targeted at least a 11 times a game. Manning will put the ball up 35-40 every game. Even though Fox likes to run it.

Terrance Newman is visiting the raiders today.

I have to say if he payed for cheap I would like him back as the 4th corner swing guy if he would agree to it.

We would have Claiborne, Carr, scandrick, Newman and Moore.

If a starting corner gets hurt u would have Newman to step in and play for a week or two.

The giants brought back shitty Arron Ross. Seems like the same thing.

I would sign a veteran safety before the draft also and a veteran running back.

This would allow us to stick to the lines in April. I hate all those 4th round and Down corners who are kick returners but might be safeties etc...then we cut them.

Don't think Newman. Would do it though.

I understand that we have no cap room but why aren't we at least visiting/talking with free agents? We may find someone willing to come to big D and then we can cut Vickers, Free, etc to free up the room to sign him. I don't understand why we aren't working around the clock to get Spencer and Romo signed to cap friendlier deals. Even if we don't get it done I'd like the know that this Front Office is doing everything possible to improve this roster.

Reeks of 2009 when we didn't contact a single free agent. I seriously don't get what goes through Jerry Jones' head.

I would think we will at least speak to Israel I, nick roach and probably a tight end.

But when u hear the names they have mentioned so far chase Blackburn and Tim dobbins...well maybe they are going to be really low key.

Still though seems completely odd we would switch defenses and not bring in some players who are familiar with it, that is almost unheard of.
