Replacements

John Phillips - Jason Garrett's nephew
Kevin Ogletree - Danny Coale - On PS most of last year, available to all other NFL teams.
Marcus Spears - Brian Price - Coming off radical surgery to re-attach his hamstrings
Victor Butler - Kyle Wilber - Scouts said he was weak against the Run and Pass last year. Will be useful against new unknown 3rd type of Offense.
Mike Jenkins - Sterling Moore - Patriots were desperate for DB's last year and let him go.
Gerald Sensabaugh - Matt Johnson - Healthy for all of 27 seconds of practice time last year.
Felix Jones - Lance Dunbar - Undrafted. Decent prospect but he's one very probable DeMarco Murray injury away from being the featured back.
Dan Connor - Alex Albright - College Defensive End will now be asked to be a Tampa 2 linebacker. Too much ground for him to cover.
Ernie Sims - Who the hell is Monte Taylor?

Look, I wanted a lot of these players gone too but damn you have to replace them with equal or better talent if you actually want to improve.

You're just looking for a reason to complain. Those guys are just nothing and we have 7-8 picks and June cuts coming up. Not to mention probable natural churning upgrades like Hannah, Harris, Beasley, ANY RB over Felix.

Sims was on the street himself. C'mon CMDwork get it together

We have 6 picks.

and still no cap room.

Yet, we felt the need to sign him off the street to play over the same cast of scrubs we are going to be sold on now.

We will trade down and pick up picks.

We never have cap room. You don't need cap room to get Ernie sins level players.

Those players could be replaced with premium picks we don't know.

There's a reason we didn't even realize/care some of them were free agents

We will trade down and pick up picks.

Has worked wonders for us lately.

Those players could be replaced with premium picks we don't know.

The way we draft we can expect 2 maybe 3 players who will contribute in 2013.

Overall, I will not miss many if any of these guys. I just don't understand how/why we aren't trying to get better. Jerry's "we're good" mentality is murdering any legit playoff chances we have before we ever start.

Those guys all suck man.

One of my favorite things about the Zone is that they will defend any player. I mean any player.....until he is cut. Then they unite and have whole threads about how terrible he is.

I remember talking about Sensabaugh's extension over there and got beat to shit when I said it was an unnecessary extension. Then when cut, it was almost universally "Oh yeah, he was terrible, great move"

Same as them on last year's free agent activity vs this year's.

Last year they were like look at all of these guys we are signing, Jerry will do what it takes! Now, they're saying how smart it is to sit out on all these overpaid free agents.

Jennings agrees to deal with Vikings
UPDATED MAR 15, 2013 7:25 PM ET

The image of Brett Favre in a Minnesota Vikings uniform will always stick in the craw of Green Bay Packers fans.

The same is going to happen with one of Favre’s favorite wide receivers.

A source confirmed to FOXSports.com that wide receiver Greg Jennings has agreed to contract terms with the Vikings. Details weren’t immediately available.

Jennings should greatly upgrade a Vikings offense that lost its best wideout when Percy Harvin was traded earlier this week to Seattle. Jennings, 29, has proven one of the NFL’s top deep threats during his seven seasons in Green Bay.

However, Jennings is coming off an injury plagued 2012 season. The Vikings were the only team to entertain Jennings on a free-agent visit and that came two days after Tuesday’s start of the free-agent signing period.

The Packers had spoken with Jennings about potentially re-signing him but it wasn’t the team’s top priority. Green Bay has a deep group of wide receivers that includes Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb and James Jones. The Packers also will be seeking to re-sign outside linebacker Clay Matthws and defensive end B.J. Raji before their rookie contracts expire in 2014 as well as negotiating a new contract with quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The Jennings signing was first reported by ESPN.

They are just trying to get more money for the guys like Peyton Manning and Drew Brees. They don't care about the little guy.

They don't care about the Sam hurds of the league.
