I also think our 4th q rush is a problem. In a hurry up offense asking Ware to bring it against a chip block 10 plays in a row is unrealistic. So to improve they need more pass rushers. Guys in the rotation who bring different elements and guys who can be Inserted at Oppurtunistic times and take advantage of fresh legs.

If they come back w/ No real changes and expect a better understanding of Ryan schemes to be the answer theyre kidding themselves

Mario at whatever it takes...

Exactly.

We need to get creative with the capl but that doesn't mean we are in cap hell. Cap hell would be having to let Sean Lee walk b/c you can't afford him. That's not the case here. The core is getting older, if you're going to spend on something let it be young all-pro blockers or rushers.

Yep. Mario Williams type players don't just become available for money everyday and who makes more money then Jerry jones? So spend it on players worthy of big deals.

I really don't get the concept of franchising him. We can't do that, then cut him later after we've signed Mario can we?

I can just see the reaction if we let Spencer walk and a team like the Pats or Packers sign him:

"OMG, that Jerry is so fucking stupid!!! How could he let Spencer go and leave us with another gaping hole on an already medicore defense"...Signing Spencer is the kind of championship move good franchises like Pats or Packers make"

Dont try to deny it either clowns, you know you'd be saying just this.

What about this player? well call him Ted.

Ted averages 4 sacks a season while playing opposite a HOF player. Ted has quit on his team in the past. Ted is 28 Years old And not improving at all. Ted played for let's say the eagles last year, should we go hard after him?

*sits back and waits*

When have the Pats ever signed an older underachieving player only to suddenly have him find himself in New England?

ok I'm just asking for one. Guys like Dillon and Moss were already stars, they just kept being stars and behaved for the most part. Harrison was a stud in SD. They've taken guys who are stars but older and kept using them. But when have they taken underachievers and turned them into stars? I can't think of one.

Well the oppostie happened with adalius Thomas which is probably why they wouldn't have interest in a guy like Spencer.

Damn it.

Semi-related ..Cardinals tag Calais Campbell. Smart move, I just didn't think they'd spend Franchise money on a 3-4 DE, especially with the unknown Peyton Manning factor.

Titans tagged griffin this afternoon too.

Yeah I saw that. He isnt elite either but he's a solid player. He's also an exceptional special teams guy. I thought he might be one of the safeties we might make a run at because our scouts were high on him when he came out.
