Exactly. You're DCU's Megatron. Megatard. :roythehammer. Throw an argument anywhere, and he'll go get it.

Its funny because you still have no idea what the hell you're talking about.. tell me more about how Newman played that TD perfectly?

Fucking idiot lol

yeah it's always everyone else who doesn't get it, huh?

I just said it in the other thread, but if you don't notice that Newman gives up alot of completions in front of him that go uncontested the last year and a half, you arn't watching the games.

So yes.. in this case, it would be alot of you that don't get it. Not always the case, but definitely here.

..and on this play specificially, if you're idea of good coverage is guessing a route before the play, jumping it, and then going "Oh shit he didn't run that" and having to sprint back to the play.. instead of reading and reacting and going with his man and getting a better chance for a deflection, then yes.. again, alot of you don't get it. Any corner in the league could have played it like that and had the same result. And after you choose to play it that way, proper technique (for anyone who's played football or DB) is if you don't pick up the ball, get your hand in between the receiver's hands so that as he's coming down with the catch you can pop it out.

So yes.. if you all don't get that, again..

CB's should just get their hands between the receivers hands on every pass. That way, they could just pop it out as the WR is coming down with the catch. Problem solved. No more receptions.

This is so f'n obvious, you'd think they and their coaches would have figured this out by now.

That's what you're taught.. correct. Seems like its a pretty effective move, right?

Or, you could not jump, position yourself where the WRs' hands will come down with the football, raise an upright, cletched fist, and let the WR pop the ball out on your fist when he comes down with it.

they must be teaching the wrs some sort of nefarious counter measure.

Yes, i agree. Teaching the correct way to play the ball is silly because DB's won't always be in a good position to play it or won't always do the right thing.

Might as well just let them go out there and do whatever they want. Why have coaching at all?
