Look at the Eagles today.. they played wayy too loose in coverage and their star CB's got thrown on underneath all day long.

If we had a Hall of Fame for threads, this one might make it in there.

I real Hall of Fame thread wouldn't get lost in coverage. And it would get its hands up to maybe break up a pass now and then. I'd say this thread has definitely lost a step and never lived up to expectations to start with.

Maybe those star CB's arnt as good as some of you thought. None of them can tackle a lick and they've given up a number of big plays in addition to being thrown on underneath. It hasnt all been because they "played too loose in coverage"

No, i think Nnamdi and Asante have proven themselves in this league already.

Of course, maybe they're like Bradie James and all of a sudden just suck and don't know how to play football anymore.

I'm amazed that they don't just put their hand between the receivers' hands so they can just pop the ball out. It is so damn obvious that it would prevent the reception. There have only been about a million CBs during the history of the league. You'd think one of them would have figured that out by now.

Be real.. have you ever heard of a DB coach teaching a silly technique like that? You just sound retarded now.

Did anyone else catch Newman running like wind, completely out of the play on a fairly long Welker reception? That was hilarious. He came out of nowhere like a bat out of hell and outran everyone. Even the guy he was supposed to be tackling lol

If the Party-Ass starts farting Newman-opinions again, I'm going to hold you down like Frank Walker in coverage on a TE and stroll my baby-nuts right into your mouth for this.

I could cover the WR's on NE whos name doesnt rhyme with Schmelker

True that. Newman had a solid game though, it was nice to see. See what happens when you actually stay near your man, instead of being 5 yards behind him all the time? When the QB makes a bad throw you're close enough to challange for an INT.
