1 ......

DaQuan Jones, DT, Penn State (6-3, 333): Jones was the Nittany Lions' most dominant player in an instant classic four-overtime victory against Michigan. Stout but athletic enough to handle duties all over Penn State's defensive line, Jones' strength and quickness is tough to handle.

Why in the hell do parents go to the trouble of finding a name that nobody can actually read? Why not name the kid Lake and save him a lifetime of name screwups? I bet it is an ethnic thing.

I hear you man. Definitely. It's like parents who feel the compulsion to name their child with two names as one. You know like... Billy Bob, Bill Joe, Ba Ba (Bubba), Beth Ann, Meth Ann..? No bets about it... that's an ethnic thing, and not only an ethnic thing but an inbred thing as well, which makes sense, because if a sister doesn't know which one of her own brothers (Billy and Bob), knocked her up... then just give it both their names and avoid a family feud. LOL.

Would your name happen to be Joe-Nathan?

^not so thinly veiled racism

Laz, go see a shrink. JFC

Please tell me how you so happened to have missed jnday's comment, to which I responded? And of course you didn't call him out on his "not-so thinly veiled racism".

Hell, I even bolded it for you.

The guy from my avi, he was the top safety recruit in the nation 2 years ago. They moved him to linebacker just to get him on the field. He also returned kicks last year. Next year will be interesting with both Safeties graduating, he'll want to move back to his natural position but if he keeps bulking up it won't matter. Either way he's an impact player.

*2016 Prospect
Myles Jack, LB(RB) 6-1/225 UCLA

That's right, I have a 2016 prospect on here. When I watch true freshman Myles Jack play, I see Derrick Brooks. Who knows if we will still be running the Tampa 2 when he's finally draft eligible but his speed makes him a difference maker. He was a state champion sprinter in high school. UCLA has played him at RB the last two games (the position most schools recruited him to play, the kid INSISTED on playing Defense) and if he keeps having the kind of success (3 TD's in only 10 carries) he may decide to stay on that side of the ball. I'm hoping he continues as a two-way player but stays committed to Linebacker.

His stats as a true freshman before tonight's game:
43 solo tackles, 62 total tackles, 5 tackles-for-loss, 1 INT, 10 passes defended, 1 fumble recovery, 1 blocked kick
120 yards rushing, 1 TD (plus 2 more tonight)

That wasn't an attempt at a racist remark, but I can come up with a few if it will offend you.

The fact you don't want it to happen makes me want it even more.

maybe he ends up being good, but I kinda doubt it...also seems like he has a shitty attitude and is definitely a knucklehead...not the kind of traits I want in a franchise QB

I have been around his family , but it was years ago. They were a little arrogant but they were winning at the particular sport we were participating in, so I can overlook it.
