Every race roots for their race. In a study Black people overwhelmingly feel more sympathy seeing a black hand get hurt than a white hand. White people will root for the white fighter or white nba player.( Unless they're clearly the favorites). Black guys still think mcnabb is a top 10 qb, they're rooting for their guys.

In case you don't know, it is the term used by Southron people that describes our race. The very race that I am so proud of. Please don't speak on subjects that you know nothing about. The term Anglo-Celtic is a term used in educational circles way before I started using it. The Celtic portion of the term, does not only appy to the Irish.

For my accused racist ways, I liked Herman Cain more than any of the Republican presidential canidates and would have voted for him. You touched on one of the reasons that resentment is growing within the white population. Everyday common white people resent being called racist because they don't support a liberal agenda. Bill Maher, the HBO comic, is a master of this tactic. The liberals lay the racist guilt trip on whites and some weak minded whites give in. This tatic keeps racial tension up becsuse some whites resent the entire black community because of it. Whites simply get tired of defending themselves.

Having Black History Month is not the best way to honor the black community IMO. No other ethnic group gets this special treatment. Blacks have played a role in developing this country, but so have other ethnic groups. Creating special recognition for one group promotes the separation of races which goes against the liberal point of view that created a month to honor blacks. If everyone and every ethnic group is equal, every group should get a month. It would be racist to honor white history from the liberal point of view though.
