If you are determined to feel "cultural pride" are you similarly determined to feel "cultural guilt"?

You had nothing to do with the accomplishments or atrocities of your ancestors. i would think feeling pride and guilt for all of them would be exhausting.

Once again you are putting words in my mouth that are diluted to suit your
agenda. You can't help yourself. It works that way when you are defending a ignorant position.

I have read different versions of the Klan handbook. My opinions puts me in a position where I wouldn't be welcomed in their organization. You have little knowledge on the subject or you would know that.

lol you tired out for the klan.

idk, some might. Think Michael Jackson.

Also, why did Chris Rock need to invest in and come out with a movie called "Good Hair"?

Jackson had vitiligo. It was confirmed in his autopsy and was the reason he bleached his skin.

Come on SP, you know that's not how it works.

We simply ignore the atrocities and only focus on the feel-good.

The latter part?

You deny that some races feel self-loathing?

You talking about the Chris Rock thing? Don't even know about that movie.

As far as races feeling self-loathing? Yes, I'll deny that. Some individuals might but to generalize it to an entire race? Get the fuck out of here.

What's there to be proud of? You were born white, black, asian, martian or klingon and don't have any idea what it means to be anything else. It's like saying you are proud of your hair color. You neither chose or had any ability to control any aspect of your makeup. You're proud because you are? Is this a twist on Descarte, "I am, therefore I'm proud"? I don't suppose if you had been born Puerto Rican that you'd be depressed and have your head filled with thoughts of "I wish I were anglo-celtic".

I don't see general race statements being made anywhere in here.

Try proof-reading, bruh.

First and foremost, my usage of word "you" was varied and not every iteration was a direct attribution to that specific poster. Many were generalizable in the same sense as the word "people" would be.

For instance, when I say, "It's like saying you are proud of your hair color", that's not a statement meant to be directly attributable to the poster. It's a fucking analogy, bruh.

Also, when I make a play on a famous quote by Descarte, it's not meant to be an accurate depiction of what that poster actually thinks. It's meant to be my interpretation of their stance based on the fact that they don't have any other perspective.

I don't think my proof-reading is the problem. Could I have made it more grammatically correct in terms of what I wanted to say? Sure. I just didn't expect that someone would comb through my post like a fucking 3rd grade English teacher.

Secondly, what the fuck are you tying to point out?
