Oh man guys I see the light this is just symbolic of everything that is wrong with the Cowboys and Jerry is so meddlesome and irritating and god I'm so mad I'm just not going to take this crap anymore this is why we haven't won in so long!!!!!!

Now that I'm completely on board what do we do about this problem? I need to turn this rage into something productive.

Jerry is a major hurdle for this team to overcome in their quest for success.

He's been the one constant in the past 16 years, in the age of parity. That isn't a coincidence.

As fans, it's comical that there are people who (1) don't recognize this and (2) aren't pissed about this.

No, but just defending him no matter what is the norm there. He is clearly wrong here. These were discussions you have with the Head Coach before hand. Jerry could have accomplished everything he claimed to want to do via phone or radio. Oh, except for face time on national TV.

Brian Billick said Jerry's the problem yesterday on NFL Network. And until he changes expect the same out of the Cowboys every year.

Homers' creed.. "Jerry has very little to do with the day-to-day anymore."

Except when crap like this happens proving it false. Then it's all "What's the big deal?"

Seriously, I thought we all left this kind of blind Jerry defending over at the Zone. Jerry is the issue, I don't know what else needs to happen for smart people, which I consider dbair and superpunk to be, to see it.

Apparently a few of them made their way over here.

Better headline: "Megalomaniac sees nothing wrong with his actions; lackey head coach concurs"

How exactly was he meddling though? If he went down there to do what he said (give Garrett up to date info on Romo's injury and the result of the Giants/Jets game) then what was he "meddling" with exactly?

That is the epitome of meddling! He has no business on the field during the gsm talking to the coach, none. Try and rationalize that retarded stance all you want. Teh Jerrah is an idiot and shouldn't have been down on the field talking to Garrett. The man needs to go away and as far as I am concerned all the fans that defend the moron can go with him.

On something like a major injury to their franchises most important player, yeah I've seen it before.

Would have been better had he not went down there, but ultimately its one of those "who cares?" things to me. Jones has been going down to the sidelines since he bought the team. It isnt like he did it for certain coaches and not for others, he's done it with all of our coaches.

That may be true if it were an excruciating, season ending injury. But Romo was able to go back onto the field shortly after that conversation. Not the same...at all.

Basically Jerry went down there to tell Garrett to sit Romo. To let him know about the Giant/Jet result was just a convenient addendum for the idiots to swallow. Owners don't do that shit during games. It would have been akin to Jerry going down to the field and telling Parcells to sit Bledsoe for Romo in '06 after that disastrous 1st half.
