Dbair... superpunk....

Do you think Jerry Jones is a good GM?

The results speak for themselves so, no?

He's mediocre. We have alot of good pieces but he just can't get it right to get us to top status.

Do you think it's good for the GM to visit the sidelines during games and provide guidance to the head coach?

I don't think it's good or bad. It's a completely meaningless thing that I doubt anyone who matters cares about.

Jerry said so himself in interviews early in his ownership that he was more involved in the business side of the organization in those early years.

But I see all you can resort to is acting like we don't know so it must've been the same way then as now. Just like the ignorant, I don't see how meddling affects the team.

If willful ignorance is the best you can do, then good luck with it.

Exactly. And as soon as Jerry started to get involved it was bothering Jimmy and it's a huge reason why he left.

From reading Boys will be Boys it is my impression that Jimmy did not like Jerry taking or getting credit for what was going on in Dallas. It didn't have anything to do with Jerry's level of involvement it was that Jimmy's ego couldn't take Jerry getting credit for something he had very little to do with (in Jimmy's mind).

That's the best answer for you to give. Because it clearly isn't good.

There's not a person who witnessed it that thought positively about it.

But I'd bet dollars to donuts that there were those that saw it that said "WTF?"

Jerry is a bad GM. He makes bad football decisions. He's got a long track record of doing so.

Yet, he feels it neccessary to interrupt his head coach during a game, to go down and tell him what to do.

But yeah, totally meaningless.

lol

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying anything good or in approval or whatever of Jerry.

I just think you guys are idiots.

Rednecks shouldn't be in charge of anything - this is a Uncle Jed Oil tycoon who got lucky - but strip away the Oil money and you still have Otis in a pickup truck and gun rack. Yee Haw!

Homers' creed.. "Jerry has very little to do with the day-to-day anymore."

Except when crap like this happens proving it false. Then it's all "What's the big deal?"

Seriously, I thought we all left this kind of blind Jerry defending over at the Zone. Jerry is the issue, I don't know what else needs to happen for smart people, which I consider dbair and superpunk to be, to see it.

Now that I'm completely on board what do we do about this problem? I need to turn this rage into something productive.
