The defense kept the Cowboys in the game for much of the season. You can’t have comebacks if the other team continues to score. It’s whatever. If Ryan were to go, id like Garrett too aswell, but he seems to be the only untouchable. Everyone else it to blame BUT Garrett, lol. What a joke the franchise is.

Endless defensive coordinators have tried to make this group play up to its potential, all have failed. Good luck to the next victim in line.

Everybody should go, we all know that.

I think what Jerry or the front office envisioned was getting turnovers, it's what they talked about all spring and summer after spending all of our resources on corners and defense.

We didn't get any.

Lovie smiths group got 41 turnovers this year.

If we give romo the ball 41 more times we are going to win more than we lose.

In lovies defense he has done a good job coaching safeties and corners, expensive positions.

We have lee and carter to be our urlacher and Briggs. With three solid corners.

But I am getting ahead of myself. I thought like an idiot we had a chance to get John fox in this kind of role, but that was dumb on. Y part and this probably is too.

I wish we would have hired fox two years ago he is a great coach and no one talks about him.

Moseley just tweeted that the assistants are left twisting in the wind right now.

I really hope dumbass Jerry is building the staff based off of some advisor like switzer or something.

I'd rather Jerry be firing assistants righht now, than to be hiring them.

Yea Lovie Smith’s defense collapsed and gave up on him this past season with all the talent they have. Epic melt down...he is the man for the job!

Little different though, they fell apart on offense and it put to much pressure on them.

Spears, kenyon coleman, lissemore, crawford coupled with McCray and Sensabaugh = FAIL

I'm not just talking about getting rid of Ryan. We need to scrap the 3-4 in all it's entirity.

I don't see how Lovie Smith DOESN'T get a head coaching job.

In fact, I'm suprised he hasn't been hired yet.
Same here. I bet he still does, though. I'd take him here.

As a DC, I don't think his scheme fits here at all, though. You're talking about a smaller, quick defense with zone corners, which is just about the exact opposite of what we have. You really don't spend $50 million and then use the 6th overall pick on cover-2 corners.

But it might create an excuse for the process of a few more years of struggle. "We're only two years into rebuilding the defense!"

One good thing aout Rob Ryan being scapegoated will be he won't be afraid to blast the organization after he exits. That should be interesting.

Thing is though, he is rob Ryan and I don't think anyone would care tbh. It would get play because its a negative Dallas story, but really I don't think he is that highly thought of.

Andy Reid interviewed him and decided to turn his offensive line coach into his DC.

Yea we are the worst 2nd guy to the ball team in the league. Our whole D seems to wait for something to happen or someone else to step up

I really think that redskins Monday night roy williams comeback fucked us up in the head

We may run a 3-4 but we have 4-3 personnel. In fact, most of our defenders played in a 4-3 in college and/or their previous NFL team.

He wasn't calling that defense. Marinelli his DC was. I see it the same way with Wade.

I don’t think Ware is an every down rusher. Cowboys are already thin on the d-line as it is. 3-4 seems to be the perfect fit for all the linebackers Dallas has. BTW, Lovie’s defenses have never been known for exotic blitzes and mixing things up.

Some coaches are head coach material, some are meant to be excellent coordinators.

Dick LeBeau failed as a HC in Cincinnati. Runs a prettty decent defense in Pittsburgh. Some might say he's a Hall of Famer.

Smith led his team to the Super Bowl with Grossman as his QB. He finished this past season with a 10-6 record. Smith is HC material.

Mcray is a great special teamer. Just like Keith Davis, he shouldn't be asked to play safety.

Thankfully Kenny gant never had to play safety for us back when we were good.

Lissemore, Crawford are good players here, not sure what is not to like. Lissemore had to start at nt but he is actually a lde.

They are Tampa 2, dingy-kiffen Tampa 2. Sound fundamentals.

Ware can do anything he is asked.

Again I don't think this happens though, I think they like the 3-4 and will do everything imaginable to keep spencer and stay in it.

I'm not against the 43, just saying that Lovie's scheme is very different from ours, a radical change. Not everyone's would be.

Older players on there way out.

Spears played on bad knees and might retire.

Coleman will be replaced.

Are u one of these people that thinks every player needs to be a pro bowler?
