Pretty sure I could give Sean Payton alot more credit on Romo than Lee

And outside of your pretty weak Romo argument, there's not any other relavence about David Lee out there anywhere to be found.

I'm sure Payton gets some of it. He was gone before Romo started though.

Wildcat.....I know it is gimmicky, but teams still use it today and Lee gets full credit for bringing that to the NFL.

Again, more than Wilson.

OK dude, I get it...Lee is your uncle or something

I seriously doubt anybody in the league would fight with us over getting David Lee. He aint gonna be in demand.

Yeah but David Lee worked for Parcells. You know who that is, right?

I'm his agent.

Whatever, it isn't that big of a deal. I just find Wilson to be absolutely worthless and I'd like to try to develop another late round/UDFA QB. Lee has at least been through that process successfully once and is familiar with Romo. He's also a guy who I think might rein Romo in a bit.

I seem to recall David Lee coaching for Bill Parcells and being Romo's first ever quarterback coach.

I'm all for dumping Wilson. Just dont see where he is any serious upgrade.

Am hoping we see major changes this week.

I seem to recall Romo crediting David Lee with his development.

Good call, Bob.

http://mississippi.scout.com/2/1039238.html

“I would not be where I am today if it weren’t for Coach Lee,” said current Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Tony Romo, who Lee tutored Romo’s first four years (2003-2006) in the National Football League. “I was so raw when I first came to Dallas. My knowledge of the game, my throwing motion, everything was just not good enough for the NFL, to be honest.

“David was a tremendous asset for me. I needed guidance. I needed leadership and he provided those things in abundance. My time spent with him when I first got in the league prepared me to play on the highest level and I will always be thankful to him.”

Along with a ton of other complementary stuff from Romo and Pennington in that link.

I seem to recall David Lee coaching for Bill Parcells and being Romo's first ever quarterback coach.

Actually that was Payton. Lee was just QC his first two years until Payton got promoted.

Lee would be an upgrade over Wilson. Can't believe this is even an argument. Wilson has to be one of the worst and least effective positional coaches in the entire league.

I'm not real sure what Wade Wilson does, to be honest.

We could replace him with a sock puppet and get the same results.

They go over plays from the previous drive that Wade has gotten someone else to compile on a clipboard. It doesn't do a bit of good or change one thing about the game or what Tony does.

He wasn't even a good quarterback in the NFL. Has this been the reunion from 1995 with Garrett coaching offense and Wilson...doing something?

Per Broaddus, Garrett hasnt met with Jerry yet.

Interesting.

It's a process. They're going to stack days before they have a meeting about the football team. They're going to discuss how the team can get better in all 3 phases - offense, defense, and special teams.

Galloway and Mosley both reporting today that Jones has not been at VR since early last week.
