Witten was great before Garrett and his 15 brothers got here.

Not a single shitty player has developed under this current coaching staff. That's a waste of at least 4 seasons of player development. All of the good ones were here under Parcells or were drafted very high. Carr was signed for $50 million so that doesn't count either.

The staff is so bad, that even good players aren't getting better. Romo has plateau'd. Witten scores a TD every 15 games. They failed Murray bigtime. The list goes on and on.

Every team is going to hit on 2-3 high draft picks if they have good scouting. The good teams are able to develop players like Alfred Morris, half of SF's roster, etc.

I can't believe Jerry let players like Gant, Harper, Ron Stone, James Washington, and several more solid players leave but had the money to sign Deion.

When the cap was put in place, the number was quite small. We had a number of bigtime guys and role players all coming up for free agency, and could keep only a certain amount of them.

The big issue was everyone in the league had to play by the same rules in 1994 except for one team, the Niners. The Niners manipulated and skated the cap like no other team trying to catch up with Dallas in talent. They signed a number of guys from the NFC Pro Bowl team and then added Deion late for what at the time was the most bogus contract in the history of the NFL. He signed a 1yr, 1 million dollar deal. To this day, Deion will still not talk about it because it was so crooked.

The Niners figured out one of the ways to manipulate the cap was with signing bonus money spread out over several years. The following year, Jerry did the same thing with the Deion deal.

Yes the line is probably two players short, that is with ratliff and Brent.

Without them we are desperate.

Crawford, lissemore, Brent and hatcher are good players.

Not sure why that is an odd question. And Ratliff and brett won't be playing here next year

You say that hatcher, Crawford and lissemore are good players. I think they are average players that could be upgraded. I like them as rotation guys but that is a paltry defensive line as you constructed it.

I do like Brent and believe he can be a real solid player but we know his story
