I'm ready to see Escobar. I'm expecting some nice plays and several touchdowns. Jerry is obviously still reeling about missing on Tony Gonzalez in the draft 17 years ago.

Which helps the team more, drafting Eifert at 18, or trading down and taking the best C prospect remaining to upgrade the sieve of an OL and take a guy who wasn't rated all that much lower than Eifert later?

Not really a sieve mathematically. One sack every 18 attempts. For some teams that's an entire passing game.

Oh we'll no point in watching.

Stretch smith says Garrett sucks, you guys say Escobar is no good.

Oh well.

I am going to enjoy the season and can't wait to see Escobar.

Sucks for you guys.
:confused

Stretch Smith loves Garrett.

And I don't say Escobar is no good. I've never seen him play. I don't doubt he's a good receiver... What's wrong with saying he's not a good blocker.

I'm more excited about seeing Williams and even Frederick... But oh well.

We didn't miss on Gonzalez 17yrs ago. We never had a chance to pick him.

Am I the only one thats not tied to witten? Love the dependability and all that and ill miss it when its gone but this is a big play league . We need points

Lol

How did I miss this gem....

Lets see mb4 wants us to sign an old aging xpensive ray Lewis who plays nothing like he used to but he is a team leader.

Then

Says we don't really need witten...lol. Who is a team leader, playing at a high level, plays injured not just hurt but injured, sets the standard for a pro athlete, is a lifelong cowboy who will go into the ring of honor and hopefully the hall of fame.

Umm something doesn't add up. Sad statement that a cowboys fan doesn't see what witten is and has been here.

I can't believe someone would want Ray Lewis on this team for more reason than one.

We went the convict/thug route a few years ago. They're overrated and have the locker room resembling an Oklahoma neighborhood that just got obliterated by a tornado.

Another Jerry gem. He tipped his hand talking about getting Aikman a target like Gonzales and then made the brilliant move of trading up before the draft. Kansas City leaped frog us on draft day. They got Gonzales, we got David Manure, I mean LaFleur.

Don't theebs me bro. I'm talking about running our offense around a guy who can't break a tackle. It's a big play league and we are bad in the redzone. We can't score more than 10 points in any first half. That dunk and dunk Shit shouldn't be the focal point of the offense . I told you last year we needed to go to the true #1 dez Bryant and he answered with huge plays. It's awesome that witte plays hurt but I fail to see how that makes him more useful on the field than he's been. His catches need to go down and he needs to focus more on his blocking so we can get the ball to the heart and soul of the team dez Bryant.

ray Lewis was a big Influence in cultivating the locker room in Baltimore . Yea that rah rah jesus talk isn't going to work on everyone but he was a driving force for a ton of great players. Don't believe me just ask them. Ill give you their number. But tell me more about the leader witten who's been so useful leading us these past 10 years.

.....in yards. Kind of easy to do when you're always trailing.

Jerry himself had a stat that we trailed or tied like 80% of the time

MB4,

Who cares about Witten's leadership, character, and playing hurt. Witten gets the ball downfield and Dallas in a position to score points like most teams do with their number 1 WR AND he does not need to come out of the game for running plays which makes him a decoy threat (should play action ever be considered a worthy efforts again) on any down. It's really stupid to take the guy who has more first downs than anyone on the team, his YAC was second on the team better than all except Dez, he was 3rd on the team on 20 yard + pass plays, had more targets than any World Class Talented WR on the team, more catches than any WR on the team, and of the 3 main receiving threats had the best receiving percentage and then say "well, you really didn't do enough".

The stats say that he was most of the reason Dallas was generally in a position to score at all.

You have two WRs who can run with the ball like Eric Dickerson (IMO) and RBs who can at least manage 3.4 yards per carry and 7 to 10 yards per reception and you blame the lack of points - which really translates to Red Zone conversion- on the TE?
