Brewster was a reach at the time along with several other reaches this Jerry Jones as GM team has made.

Gosselin gets his info from teams. He got the Brewster tidbit from the Cowboys. No other team has publicly said they had Brewster rated high. The highest I saw was the Bears had a 5th round grade on him. Jerry just admitted a day ago that HE has really missed on some offensive linemen the past few years.

Jerry sucks. You live in a fantasy land. The end.

Now you are just saying shit without any proof at all. Nor do you have any idea where any teams had Brewster rated, as most teams dont come out and say "we had so and so rated here or there" especially if they were drafted by other teams.

Wait.

Didnt you just say that many teams had Brewster rated in the top 100?

All you have to do is tell him which teams, copy paste their top 100, then tell cmd he's an idiot for thinking otherwise.

Who ever said scouts or underlings are the ultimate tie breakers for us.

The ultimate tie breaker is the GM who is Jerry and that's why you are throwing a temper tantrum, just admit why you are bitching and this can be over.

lol, Jerry! He said it. That when it comes to a tie, the scouts get the nod because they are scouts. That's their job, or some crap.

And if you could comprehend, I said at the very beginning of this thread that Jerry would be the ultimate tie-breaker. No matter how hard he tries to comfort the fan-base. It's easy as hell to circumvent this rule of his:

*Jerry falls in love with player that he personally scouted at the Senior Bowl, read about on CBSSportsline*

Jerry: "Uh, Garrett, the scouts say we gotta take this player."

I mid-read his post, cmd, he's got you on the ropes.

I don't see how.

there are lots of reasons to show Brewster was a giant reach..he sucks, no one else wanted him when released less than a year later, completely out of the league in 2 years. His argument that he wasn't a reach is the fact that the Cowboys took him and that Gosselin (who works in Dallas and has several ties to the Cowboys organization) was the only draft guru that had him rated top 100.

Reach. One of many by our pretend GM.

Seriously.

If what dbair says is true, teams who had a 3rd round on Robert Brewster, or a 4th round grade, and missed out on him because we had taken him, would have at least taken a look at him when he was put on waivers.

Nope. Nothing.

I'm just saying that I misread his post. You're probably right on every other part, but I thought Dbair said a lot of TEAMS had Brewster rated in their top 100, when in fact he said scouting services.

Unless he made that claim in another post in this thread.

I don't think The Big Three...Kiper, Mcshay, Mayock.. or any other draft publication I know of had him Top 100.

Let me sum this up for you again.

Jerry is bad WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

I notice you have backed away from the initial discussion about Jerry putting players on the team Garret does not want, which was the original topic.

Did Jerry say, "I won't put anyone on the roster than Jason Garrett does not want."?

Nope, he simply stated that noone would be on the roster that Garrett doesn't want. Which was a lie, because if scouts are trumping him in tiebreakers, then obviously he's not having final say on the makeup of his roster.

So, no, I haven't backed off that discussion.

Sweetness. Another board to be able to bash Jerry on.

There should be more of these. :thumbsup

Something virtually every fan in every football fan of the team was crowing for. Get a Roy Williams, Anquan Boldin or (the 3rd name escapes me). Nobody had a problem with what the price was going to be, until RW got here and didnt perform at the level most expected.

So because a lot of Joe Fans wanted Roy, that excuses Jerry for ignoring his scouts and getting ass raped in a trade for the player?

So you believe if Garrett does not win the tie breaker he does not want the player on his team at all.

Thats some great logic there. :Dunce
