You failed to answer any of my rather elementary questions. Interesting.

I'm simply mocking you because, lets just say, your opinions are easily molded by others.

Happy posting.

No I didn't, I simply said he can't manage the cap, didn't I ? That means he's done a poor job of it.

Easily molded by others? lol Okay...just because I see the truth and don't have to be a homer to realize it.

Stephen Jones.

For years I read fans talking about how good we'll have it when he takes over.

I finally got sick of it and asked why? What exactly has this guy done to warrant any respect from anyone?

If he was this clever capologist we wouldn't be in the shape we're in now. A six win team with the highest payroll in football. Something's wrong there.

I thought he might be better than his father for a while, then I realized he isn't any better and with a payroll at 153 million proves he can't.

What's he suppose to say that his father wants him to do things a certain way? I can't believe some reporters think he's good at it.

Honestly, looking at the numbers over the next few years it really seems like the Joneses expected 2011 to be uncapped.

I think your right, I've read something that said they were prepared for it. I'll have to look it up.

Jimmy loves the guy. I've read comments from other NFL people stating they thought he was one of the best cap managers in the league.

I heard other people like him!

Uh, let's just look at the results here. We have a very flawed 6 win team and the highest payroll in the league. With God awful contracts like Barber, Newman, Roy, Austin and Davis.

So I'll ask again. What has Stephen Jones ever done to warrant any praise as a cap man?

I can give you the real reason he's been praised, if you like. It's pretty obvious.

The biggest flaw was replaced at midseason last yr.

As for the contracts, there was nothing wrong with the deals they signed Newman and Austin to. Leonard Davis' deal seem warranted when he made back to back probowls and played a pretty dominant RG for two years. Barber and RW were bad deals.

Well now we have the company response.

Every player I mentioned is vastly overpaid. They're bad contracts. Created by the "cap guru".

It's bad contract after bad contract that leaves a 6 win team the highest payroll in the league.

Unless you know the ins and outs of all those deals, your doing what you always do. Talking out of your ass again.

The fact is you dont.

For all you know some of those guys will be released or maybe have contracts restructured.

Yeah. I'm talking out my ass stating a fact. The Cowboys have the highest payroll in the league.

But you, meanwhile, are talking the real deal spewing gems like bad luck had a part in Jerry's decade of poor draft classes and that Stephen Jones is the best cap man in football because of.....well, cause.

You sicken me. You're the most illogical fan I've ever talked to. You give Cowboys fans a bad name.

So Jimmy likes Stephen Jones. Look dbair1967, you're talking to a guy that thinks that not only was Parcells the greatest coah the Cowboys ever had---Landry and Johnson included, even though Parcells never won the division or a playoff game for the Cowboys, that somehow trumps what both Landry and Johnson has done acoording to the fool, but he also thinks Parcells is the greatest of all time, and he is still pissed over how Stephen Jones told Parcells off.

I can't believe that I missed page 3. Cr and Midswat going at it was epic.

I don't take a pessimistic view on all things Cowboys. I take a realistic view of it.

Open your eyes. This is the worst era of Cowboys football in it's history. If you haven't been more pessimistic over the last 16 years, you've been wrong.

I'm simply stating facts. We have a roster full of holes, we're a 6 win team and we carry the league's highest payroll.

And I'm supposed to think highly of our cap guru?

Hardly.
