Explain to me how you can get a brand new secondary and fill 1-2 holes on the oline in one offseason, to justify not signing Sensy and Scandrick. And being better next year.

Good luck

You sign and draft better players. We have something like 14 pending free agents next year. There is no reason we can't sign 5 or 6 decent free agents (not superstars) that can start or contribute and add 2 impact players from the draft. Then fill the holes (last 4 or 5 roster spots) with the undrafted free agents that some Cowboy fans seem to fall in love with every training camp.

The last 2 off-seasons we have added ZERO and TWO free agents. Jerry has seriously misjudged the talent and holes on this roster. You don't have to go out and reward mediocrity with a 5-year deal. You just make a commitment to improve. The 2009 Draft and the last 2 donuts of off-seasons we have had has impacted this roster. As long as we have a clown of a General Manager we will continue to not be able to compete year-in, year-out with the elite teams in the league.

Its not rewarding anybody with a 5 year deal its 8 million guaranteed they can be out of the contract in 2 years with a minimum cap hit.

Who would be a comparable player they could get at the same money?

You are vastly going off the deep end here. He signed a peanuts type deal. Obviously Ryan and Garrett had alot of say in the decision to keep the guy. If they thought he was garbage or wasnt worth it, he wouldnt have got a new deal.

You cant replace everybody. We have needs on the OL, probably one DL spot, probably one LB spot and at least a couple other DB spots. His new contract wont get in the way of filling those needs.

The last two off seasons have brought us DEz Bryant, Sean lee, Sean lissemore, Tyron smith demarco Murray, Tony fiametta, laurent Robinson, two promising young guards and we have cleaned out under performing contracts.

We have good young talent to balance the veterans out and have created. Very good cap situation.

I really can't see what the bitching is about. We blew the draft in 09, no question. It happens to the best of them though.

re: bigboi

Dashon Goldson
Reggie Nelson
Mike Adams (Cleveland Brown S)
Bryan Scott (Buffalo Bills S)
Tyvon Branch

We could sign Tanard Jackson or Brandon Merriweather to 1-year deals too.

We'll be able to get along w/o Geraldo. Too bad Jerry has made it a moot point.

I didn't say sign Branch to a one-year deal. Give him the 5 year deal we gave Sensabum.

For argument's sake, say Sensy is better than the others on the list, which I don't buy at all, it's not by much, if at all. Your argument is that it would take too much work to replace him, which I pretty much disproved.

Sensafucks come and go. You don't extend such JAGs.

Sensabaugh tested the market and got zero takers. There was no need to give him an extension at all. Mat McBriar, Laurent Robinson, a healthy Tony Fiametta, Abram Elam, and even Anthony Spencer are all much more deserving of new deals than Sensabaugh.

Thanks for showing me you have no idea of good safety play, none of those guys are a upgrade and its no guarantee they come cheaper.

Bryan Scott is a 30 year old safety who does not even start for Buffalo how is he in the same class as Sensy? :wha?

Bryan Scott doesn't start yet still has near the same, identical stats, and somehow he's not in Sensy's "class"? LOLOOLOL What class is that???

Can you give the criteria of why you think any of those guys are better?

So I see where playing the "they have the same stats" game with nothing to say if they are even asked to do the same thing.

Butler has started 23 games in 5 years he would do so much for more for this D. :Dunce

Which is what?

The fact that you think a guy who has started 23 games in last 5 years for one of the worst defenses in the NFL shows how off base you are.

I get it, you think Sensy can be replaced by any Jag.

Yes, because Sensy is a JAG.

But I like how you guys have convoluted it in your mind that extending Sensabaugh was the only thing left to do and have put him on some sort of stratosphere. "Not in Sensy's class", LOL fucking idiotisms.

Sensabaugh isn't a ball-hawk. Sucks in coverage. Not a great tackler. What the fuck do you guys see in him that makes you think he's irreplaceable?

On second thought, shut the fuck up, I don't even want to read it.
