It wasn't a debate. It was me destroying him and him trying to run and hide behind trolling to avoid admitting how wrong he is.

Pathetic.

But again, so far it has never stopped us from being active in free agency, re-signing our own players, or having to cut someone who is performing at an appropriate level.

You need to explain specifically, with ACTUAL examples.
I don't get this. Being active in free-agency doesn't mean we don't have cap issues. Re-signing our own players doesn't mean we don't have cap issues.

We didn't have the cap space to sign Jake Long this year. Of course, the excuse for that will be the salary cap prevents all teams from having two stud tackles.

We didn't have the cap space to sign Peyton Manning last year, either.

Of course the question is ignored, did we have any desire to sign him? Fuck, the Rams had to do some cap massaging to get the cap space necessary. The Dolphins didn't even try.

Obviously noone can sign anyone every year. But I have yet to see us be restricted at all by it.

Depends on your definition of restricted I guess. We haven't had the cap space to fix the OL. There's really no arguing that.

And that's always going to be the team's excuse.

Why didn't you sign [insert stud OL here]?
We didn't have the cap space... or
We didn't think he was a fit for our team.

Jerry's never going to say we didn't have the cap space.

There absolutely is arguing it. Without the unforeseeable penalty, maybe we also sign Grubbs last season. Instead, we obviously viewed corner as a bigger need and went that way, while at the same time picking up a new set of guards.

If your argument is "we didn't sign the marquis free agent at position X" every offseason, therefore we're in "cap hell", you have a really weak argument. Especially when we've signed other marquis free agents at other positions of need in that exact same offseason.

:lol... you're admitting what you do when people here crush you in policital debates is pathetic. Nice.

I'm sorry... I should've rehashed a discussion we just had for the fun of it instead of trolling.

I'll respond to you when you decide to participate in the topic. All you're trying to do is troll and it's pathetic. At this point if you actually had a point you could have posted it several times instead of wasting time with your pathetic excuse for trolling.

We CAN DO whatever we want each year.

We signed Justin Durant and Will Allen this year because they are better than everyone else, not because they were on-the-cheap signings. All of those other available free agents weren't good enough to play for the Dallas Cowboys.

We got this.

The whole asking Mike Huff to agree to terms and wait a few days before we could actually sign him destroys the we can do whatever we need to do philosophy.

Oh shit... I completely forgot about this.

Also that whole wanting Carl Nicks but couldn't go after him once his price tag went north of 5 mil a year. That too.
