I think he was talking more about the way the team would be handled.
It didn't take Jed but 2 seconds to let everyone know they could exhale. No more walking on egg shells. I think that was the biggest clue into what was coming.
And he's right, IMO. I whole heatedly believe this team is headed right back to Jerry's model of 5-11, rather than building on what we were headed for 4 years ago.

To answer your question, the late season bullshit is a Dallas Cowboy thing, IMO. It's something that they do for some reason.
Bill Parcells coached teams are always historically slow starters and fast finishers. Never understood why that never happened when he coached in Dallas. But I do think the players/team expect to fail and believe they are losers.
