The LA Rams have two 2nd rd picks (currently pickd 43 and 45) and Philly has two 3rd rd picks. (picks 77 and 79)

Correct, those wont be announced until after the owners meetings before the draft...I think end of March or early April

There was some comp pick projection that had us getting a 4th and three 6th round picks

Here's what it should look like when the compensatory picks are announced:




Unknown if we still lose that 7th round pick for Michael, since we cut him and Seattle re-signed him.

We should have two 4s and four 6s but no 5th and no 7th.

Do you guys know how exactly it works when a team puts a tender offer on a player in free agency. For example, take Ron Leary. Could they put a 3rd round tender on him and get a 3rd round pick for him from the team that signs him?

There are three tender amounts...
1st round tender..very expensive
2nd round tender..less but still expensive
Original tender..much cheaper, but in Leary's case would be no draft pick since he was undrafted

That makes sense. So you think they will or should put a 2nd round tender on Mo Claiborne? There has been talk about possibly resigning him so would putting a 2nd round tender on him be a better idea? I'm not sure how much difference there is between what a 2nd round tender would cost compared to what Mo could get on the open market. So basically we would either get Mo on the cheap or some team has to give up their 2nd round pick.

Braxton Miller and Carson Wentz seem like the overall winners at the Senior Bowl so far. Praise of those two has been universal.

Sure hope we get Miller.

Originally I was thinking we could snag him in the second round if we wanted him... But now I get the feeling he's gonna work his way into the first round before this is all over with.
