No idea
I don't remember him even being targeted let alone a catch

I can't remember seeing him all game. So that's how much of a non factor he was. And he wasn't injured

They seemed to play a lot more 3 WR sets than 2 TE sets, and when there were 2TE's in the game Hanna was in as a blocker (and he did get some decent blocks in the first half) along with Witten.

When is D-Law going to start being a consistent force?

Yeah I mentioned him after the game, he didn't do much again.

Each game he has had one or two plays where he flashes something, but otherwise has been invisible so far.

FWIW, doesn't sound like Bob Sturm is convinced Weeden will start next week. Not sure what The Ticket guys are saying, haven't listened to them.

For the 2nd straight game a RB is our number one receiver

That pretty much tells the whole story right there

Plus Randall had 85 yards rushing in just the first ten minutes of the game. Then 2 yards the remainder of the game.

If one back is on fire and they aren't able to stop him then why switch to your second back?

Keep running him until they prove they can stop him. Then switch backs to get some fresh legs in there. But don't move away from someone who is having the game of his life

Should be noted that Dan Quinn is a defensive coach. Our offensive game plan was easy to defend. Opponents don't need to fear the deep passing game. Just load up on the run and the intermediate routes and we're easy to stop.

Every single thing that folks have posted here regarding the game ran through my mind while I was watching so I don;t want to repeat what's already been said. But I agree with this. Randle actually had me thinking that I was all wrong about him in the 1st quarter. I actually thought Weeden was for real; I actually thought that Red Headed Cocksucker that I hate so much may have really known what he was doing and built this team to handle the bumps and bruises of the NFL; I really thought Wilcox and Church could cover; I almost elevated Marinelli to God status.

In other words, I fell for it and fell hard. At the end of the day, it's 2012/13 minus Romo. Breeden is what he's always been and the coaching staff should have known that. They've played fast and loose with the most important position on the team for years now and certainly under Garrett's tenure. Now we're hoping for Moore or Cassel t bail us out. For all that talk about our improved drafting we still haven't found a safety since Woodson left and where the hell was Byron Jones? And how do draft a WR and TE in the 3rd round and one can't freaking catch and the other one disappears?

I'm disappointed but mainly because they fooled me and I was thinking of the post I was going to make when I got home praising Garrett. Never again will I let this dolt fool me. Once again he fucked up the end of the half with multiple TO's in his pocket. And why does it seem like teams always make half time adjustments and we just can't?

I thought it was smart for Weeden to go deep on the second play of the game to back the D off the line. But that was the last time he took a shot with a deep ball

Had he of done that a few more times and connected once or twice they would have to at least respect the threat and not stack the box each play

I have to say, for all his faults in the past Weeden is an accurate passer. He does NOW have the Franchise record for 21 straight completions without a drop or pick. As soon as the announcer mentioned the new record he made a bad decision and threw a pick on the next play. Thanks for jinxing us ya bastard! LOL

It happened in the Miami game as well, the announcer said Tanihill went 157 (or whatever the number was) completions with out a pick , and boom, next play he throws a pick. I've seen that happen numerous times over the years. As soon as they mention a long streak like that something happens shortly there after to screw it up lol

But Who would of thought at the end of the day that Weeden of all people would hold any Cowboy franchise record? Let alone one for accuracy!

He performed better than I had expected him to! Is he going to take us to the promise land while Romo is gone? Doubtful. But I think he will be good enough to get us a couple wins and to get us by without Cassel having to save the day as long as we can support him on D And keep games close along with not dropping balls and killing drives with too many penalties

The Cowboys run defense was pretty bad. Those Shanny type offenses seem to give Rod Marinelli problems. Credit Atlanta, they took it to the Cowboys in the second half. They are going to be a good team. Weeden was pretty good (by his standards) minus the horrible INT. They just didn’t have the ball much in the second half. Cowboys D was getting gashed and they decided to leave Julio 1 on 1. It’s crazy but every week teams are not double covering Julio and he is killing em. Cowboys 3rd down defense wasn’t very good either. I couldn’t hardly watch that second half because i saw what was coming. The timeout before the half was dumb. Wittens false start killed that drive. Just can’t have that with a depleted team.

At least we did better on penalties than last game

Still room to improve

Last week we set a franchise record for most penalties. This week Weeden's franchise record for completions. What franchise record are we going to break next week? LoL
