Yes, when they were asking about the alleged problems between him and the GM, he said something like "All decisions are made by Mr. Lurie."

Then repeated that, throughout the rest of the presser.

pretty sure when Kelly stabbed the other GM in the back and got him fired that he was awarded complete control over all personnel moves

Oh, I know what you're talking about now. That was clearly just to take the high road on him winning the power struggle with the GM who was there. What was he supposed to say, "Ha, ha, the owner sided with me and I won the battle with that loser Roseman!"

He never said the owner was making individual personnel decisions.

No, because this is a different coach and a different GM.

I may be the only one, but I think Kelly has done enough good things in his career that I don't totally discount what he's doing. The Murray contract is actually the one thing that makes me think he's crazy, but even then I wouldn't be so sure. The guy is really smart -- Belichick used to go to Oregon to watch his practices and pick his brain. (Doesn't Bill know college basketball coaches are the real source of football knowledge?)

I think he's more crazy than crazy like a fox, but a few weeks ago he had McCoy but no stud linebacker. Today he has someone possibly as good as McCoy and a stud linebacker.

Is he really a stud LB though? He had a good rookie season and then blew out his knee I think and didnt play any last yr.

Was surrounded in Buffalo by quite a bit of defensive talent, especially in the front 7.

Fisher says he checking "for the scoop on Dallas and Hardy" but nobody can seem to confirm this Archer thing, and the guy who posted it claims Archer said Dallas just freed up some ridiculous amount of money

Hardy, McClain, Brent, etc. their "RKG" ethics seems awfully malleable. you heard me right. malleable!

Plus McCoy by many accounts was turning into an attitude problem, complaining about Kelly's hard practices among other things.

Maybe Kelly really is going for RKGs, not just using it as a meaningless buzzword.

would appear any real help for 2015 is coming from combination of within and the draft

not sure who else is out there...I think Parrish Cox may still be available...I dont think Michael Johnson has signed anywhere yet but word was he wanted to go back to Cincy or potentially with Zimmer in Minnesota...he wasnt very good last two yrs anyway

I cannot believe Dallas isn't chomping at the bit to land Hardy. It's like they don't remember what it was like to watch their pass rush get stone walled all season.

Fuck em.

So Kelly is just a Jason Garrett-like puppet letting the owner make all the moves?
I don't pretend to know this, I only know what he kept saying, when pressed. He deferred to the owner and said he makes all the decisions.

Didn't see the Rams in the playoffs last yr.

Reasonably sure we won't see them in playoffs this yr either.
