You've always been high on Patterson. More than me anyway. But I'd have to agree with you here he has enough skills to be a playmaker.

Vikings QB situation over the last several years couldn't have helped him much either. When Norv got there I thought for sure Patterson's career would sky rocket but I guess Norv doesn't like him much... So that kinda scares me away.

But for a 7th rounder I'd do that trade. He replaces Harris on the depth chart and we get a shot at tapping into that potential. Maybe Dez gets thru to him too. I wouldn't send anything higher than that tho.

Take him. Even Norv Turner recognizes that the scheme is needs speed. Brilliant deep threat with getting Wallace, who cares if he only catches every third pass, you are not going to let him get deep without coverage.

It looks like Spencer may be gone too. There is not much out their to replace him at this point. He is not much, but somebody has to line up at the position. Agree or not, all these defensive players leaving Dallas is not a good thing when there is not a NFL quality backup on the roster. I know many fans are glad to see all these players leave, but things may look different when they see the replacements. Yes, it can get worse than Durant, Carter, Melton and Spencer. I would be all for upgrading these players if there was somebody better signed to take their place. Is there anybody left that would be an upgrade?
