I dont think that had anything to do with what happened to him at all.

I'm speaking more in generalities about the lack of aggressive types in Dallas when referring to the country club atmosphere

It certainly could have contributed to Roy although you must not think so.

You could be useful and actually post your thoughts sometime

I have, almost everyone has.

Whatever happened to him seemed to coincide with this breakup from that slut from Destiny's Child. After that happened, he was never the same. And it wasnt just playing in space where he got worse, he got worse in all facets of the game.

I think it was a lot more than a bad breakup. He lost Woodson. He started to get exposed as people figured him out. The game started to change and become much more pass oriented. The typical "in the box" SS started to become an outdated position

And he lost his fire. Could be the break up. Could be the country club atmosphere. Could be all the horse collars and criticism

In all seriousness tho when it comes to Roy... I thought a lot of it had to deal with the rules of the game and also the move to the 34. Had we got an adequate safety next to him and kept him in the box in a 43, I think he would have been fine.

You may have a point. Bernard Pollard is a stud, and he's not exactly the fastest guy out there. Probably runs slower than what Roy did.

Pollard is so much worse than Roy ever was. Last year especially he got exposed in space, was a huge reason we ran all over them.

@MoveTheSticks: There's a strong possibility that Chance Warmack won't be the first guard selected in this draft.

I always forget how flukey draft coverage/analysis is early on.

Shariff Floyd was considered a 2nd round candidate not long ago and the only person I kept hearing rave about him was Bryan Broaddus.

Now he's getting mentioned as a strong candidate for #1 overall, and a top 3-5 selection at worst.

This is about the time of year, maybe a little after when DeMarcus Ware was thought of as a solid 3rd rounder.

As far as fan mockers go.

Couple of decent tweets from Greg Cossell

‏@gregcosell
I will start w/Floyd. So far my favorite player on tape. Great hips, nimble. Played thru + around blocks. Closing burst. Tackle for loss DT.

@gregcosell
Like Floyd more than Lotulelei, regardless of heart issues. But Star light athletic feet w/excellent short area quickness + closing burst.

‏@gregcosell
Patterson will be drafted high due to size + athletic tools. Not as explosive running routes as he is with ball in his hands. Lack of exp.

@gregcosell
One thing to always remember. No one comes into NFL a finished product. What can be coached + what can't. That's key question in evaluation.

@gregcosell
Hunter also intriguing. More of speed cut route runner than throttle down, in-and-out of break rte runner. Stride length + build up speed.

@gregcosell
Based on my film work I think both Cooper + Warmack better OG prospects than DeCastro + Zeitler last yr.(I had Zeitler ahead of DeCastro).

‏@gregcosell
Really liked Cooper. Most purely athletic OG I can remember seeing on film. Light feet, great balance. Plus nasty streak. Looked for contact

I've been saying this for years.
