If they drafted russel Wilson like I said they should do we'd have at least two extra 2nd rounders(maybe more). $10M more in cap room . And Wilson locked up for like $1M for 3 more years without any potential at a new contract per cba rules

Unfortunately, if they had drafted him, he'd be buried on the bench, Dallas wouldn't know what they had and we'd be in the exact same situation.

Sorry. But the talent level between Cooper and Warford is greater than that of Vaccaro and Reid. Cooper and Reid all the way.

Shit and trade spencer. That's like $30M(Levitre and Vollmer) in cap room and like 5-6 picks in the top 50.
And we'd be like, sorry Russell, we'd love to give you more money but its the rules.

There's no question Cooper is better than Warford, but I'm not sure that Reid is anywhere close to Vaccaro either though.

I think Warford has a better chance to be a high quality long term starter than Reid does.

I'd take Reid over vaccaro if it means we can draft OL at 18.

Cooper, Warmack or Fluker at 18 then give me Elam, Cyprien, Reid at 47.

And even if we still didn't draft safety in the first two rounds we could land a starter in the 3rd. Phillip Thomas, Shamarko Thomas come to mind. And there's still more safeties available after that.

@CoachBillick
This may be the best interior OL #NFL draft class in recent memory, don't be surprised if 2 OG go in top-10

I have long thought that Reid would be the best S in this class. Admittedly, he has a down year, but I take that as more of dysfunction in the LSU program than his talent level.

He was downright awful in the bowl game.

I think people may have thought he was better than he was prior to this year because of the amount of talent around him. He does take alot of bad angles and people have the idea that he is a huge playmaker, when in fact he hasnt been. He's made very few plays on the ball, even in prior years where the talent level was elite.

Again...I think him having a bit of a down year is because the LSU was a mess this year. They lacked discipline as a team and his play suffered because his aggressiveness was not properly harnessed by the staff.
