Beatty has been a JAG since he's been drafted. No question better than Jason Williams, but Wade loved him and had to have the guy.

Who cares so much about elite speed at safety. If the player looks good on tape and is athletic, I'd draft the kid.

Roy was a badass for a few years, though. 100% badass his rookie year.
One thing I noticed watching one of those old 2008 Hard Knocks fiascos... Remember when they practiced against the Broncos before that preseason game and it was supposed to be no hitting? But their guys were hitting too hard? Roy seriously got pissed and said this is bullshit, I'm gonna fuck one of them up the next time they come across the middle. Campo said not to but he said he was going to anyway. It sort of hit me that we might not have any players with that attitude now. Maybe Ratliff, but who else? We need more of that.

Once those back to back bombs to Santana Moss happened on MNF, he was never the same. Was constantly getting beat, turning around, turning his palms up and trying to blame other people.
Should've won DROY in 2002, IMO.
