That's a problem. So it wasn't Reid at 18-it was Floyd.

Floyd vs Frederick + 74 - lets see how this plays out.

Don't like our chances

I'm glad we didn't get Floyd. If we're looking for people to get upfield then I agree with Jerry he wasn't a good pick.

What is fucking dumb is that we had him rated 7th apparently and then scrapped that on a whim. If we knew he wasn't what we were looking for don't rate his fucking ass at all.

How often does the #1 C or even #2 C in a given class completely bust?

Wishfully thinking that it's a safe pick. I hope

Am I the only one who doesn't want a RB today?

No... Those guys are a dime a dozen in today's NFL. Demarco is going to be the lead back here anyway.

And besides, our coach doesn't run the ball. Some others might use two good backs. Not here.

I'd rather get a safety or some other position.

Jerry has no strategy. He has the attention span of a dog.

Jason and scouts rule the day! Overrides them.

Sticking to our board. Changes up board on draft day.

I'd totally agree with this if Demarco could stay on the fucking field.

I'm all for a rb, a tight end and another lineman.

We have to run the ball better, it won't magically happen.

New players, new rb coach. Hopefully it gets better

I feel it's pretty much a lock we add a RB. Most likely today.

Gio Bernard or Jonathan Franklin works for me. We'll take Montee Ball though.

Also, how awful is Felix Jones that we didn't even offer him vet's minimum to come back?

I bet Bobby Carpenter was better than the 18th player on our board in 2006. Good pick?

I have a very hard time believing Frederick was the 22nd best football player in the entire draft this year. If he was, great. He is very strong and doesn't get pushed back. But his feet are like concrete.

Somebody (I think it was Broaddus) was saying the Cowboys had Frederick rated a 2nd rounder, but figured there was no way he'd be there for their pick at 47 so they had to take him at 31.

I really think having 8 OL's go in the first 20 picks or so changed how they thought about the pick at 31.

It really doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the interior of the OL and RT are the worst positions on the football team, hands down. Its caused huge headaches for years, so addressing it with a guy who is probably a walk in day one starter from a major program isn't a dumb thing to do.

Even so, you can flat out see a difference when Demarco is in compared to a guy like Felix last year. Where if the blocking was shit, sometimes Murray could still get us 3-5 whereas with Felix it is going to be a negative play.

It's like with pass rushers. They may only win once or twice a game. But that's the difference, those plays add up. We could be talking about 2-3 drives per game that could be extended if we had talented backs. I think a mid-round investment is worth it but we do have bigger needs, too.

The problem these assholes are going to roll out this shit for an OL week 1 and expect Freddy to change something. We need at least one more new piece. We won't get it

don't forget, Frederick won't sell many jerseys, even though his jersey is already up at dc.com.

Eddie Lacy might seel some jerseys. Montee Ball might too.

I dunno, I wouldn't be surprised at all for us to get an OT at some point. Maybe Watson (trade up?) or Armstead?

I just can't accept that they're going to gamble on Free magically becoming better over the summer.

I'm listening to 105.3 The Fan and they played a clip where Jerry was on earlier and explained why we took Frederick at 31.

Jerry obviously spun it as we had Frederick ahead of Reid on our board, that we took the best player on our board at 31, and that -- get this -- there is no offensive lineman after Frederick who could help us. :awkward

The Fan commentators saying that tells them we won't draft any more offensive lineman.

The whole no OL after Frederick who can help us is retarded. I hate Jerry.

I'm curious on why anyone is listening to Broaddus on draft picks anymore? He has been pretty wrong so far.

Don't get me wrong, I like Broaddus but it appears he is not getting or sharing any factual "inside info". He's basically a better known sdogo at this point.

Really it looks like the team is using him to feed the media shit.

In fact I don't know of any Dallas media people who ever brought up Frederick's name even once, but it appears our scouts and coaches liked the guy all along. They did a good job keeping his name under wraps.

I really liked Montee Ball when I saw him play. I think somebody is going to get a perennial 1200 yd a yr back with him.

Really like Franklin a lot too.
