Pads are on and the OL still sucks.

If I had to guess..they will suck in the preseason

I also think they will suck during the regular season.

They will be better in the postseason. When we don't have to watch them

0-16, we probably wont even score a td this yr

So, Nate livings couldn't finish practice, and now Jermey Parnell is headed in early, during final stretching. OLine is thinning out a bit.

So it appears livings, Parnell and spencer are banged up.

Read today these are the longest practices In the league.....I wonder if the are intentionally kicking the players ass to build t mental toughness.

IF so these are probably all minor aches and pains from soreness.

On the positive side, looks like this Hamilton kid might be a real find. Also sounds like Geathers and Church are showing extremely well.

Both scrub offensive lineman that were brought in are hurt? No biggie.

Free, McGee, AOA and Matt Johnson were all really good players at their schools. None of them were drafted solely on athleticism or height/weight/measurables. They were all very productive players.

Stanback would be the exception there.

I never said anything about their production. I simply said they were gambles on small school guys with measureables.....which they were.

There is a reason why most of these guys are FCS or below. And great production at the FCS level doesn't always translate to success in the pros (as we've seen with several of these guys). There have been a ton of FCS quarterbacks with superior college numbers to Romo, but they never amounted to anything.

I loved the Free pick. I thought they should have grabbed him when they grabbed that bum Marten. I remember being annoyed until they grabbed Free the next day.

I'd love to draft Tim Flanders when he comes out.

None of that changes the apparent trend for taking a chance on those types of guys in 4.

That is the opposite of what broaddus always said. They argued, Ireland stood by his thoughts and parcells appreciated that.

I get the feeling and always have what. Junk said. He is a company guy, probably is low key and likes having a good job with a great organization, not to mention he had deep ties to what had been wrong with this front office before bill got here, guys like broaddus. Ireland was new.....

Also norm asked him if they had changed there criteria on players and if garret would have said no to DEz and ciskowski said right out, we have had the same plan in place for a while now.

Sounded like this front office still evaluates using a lot of what parcells preached.

Better said than I could have.

Another thing that annoys me at the Zone is that they always want to sweep what Parcells did in Dallas under the rug, call his time in Dallas a failure, etc. He totally changed the direction of the franchise.

I liked Parcells' philosophy towards the draft .ie picking players from predominantly major college programs, but he missed on a lot of those.
