He broke it all down. How need fits, what area scouts do, how they use the info from the combine and schools.....who does what and what breaks ties.....

But again how is he not privy to "upper management" happenings? That's insane he is the top personnel guy and he has been here 20 years...

Which means charlottes son who is always on tv and in the war room probably has as much say on critical decisions going forward..

Oh, I know it'd be a waste of my time. Hostile still doesn't even understand what a good GM should be doing or even what a GM really does at all. The fan base has been so brainwashed by the Cowboys three ring circus they think that is the norm. Open your eyes, look around the league and see how all the successful teams operate. Then look at what Dallas does.

4th round is their gamble round. They take a chance on a guy with amazing athleticism usually from a small school. They've been doing it almost every year since Parcells left: Free, Stanback, McGee, AOA, Arkin, Matt Johnson.....the only guys they really didn't follow that trend with were Choice and Wilbur.

They've been doing it almost every year since Parcells left: Free, Stanback, McGee, AOA, Arkin, Matt Johnson.....the only guys they really didn't follow that trend with were Choice and Wilbur.

Free, McGee, AOA and Matt Johnson were all really good players at their schools. None of them were drafted solely on athleticism or height/weight/measurables. They were all very productive players.

Stanback would be the exception there.

There's essentially 4 new starters on the OL right now if you count Free and Smith flipping sides, it takes time to build cohesion on the OL. This is the first real work Callahan has had with any of them.

That is the opposite of what broaddus always said. They argued, Ireland stood by his thoughts and parcells appreciated that.

I get the feeling and always have what. Junk said. He is a company guy, probably is low key and likes having a good job with a great organization, not to mention he had deep ties to what had been wrong with this front office before bill got here, guys like broaddus. Ireland was new.....

Also norm asked him if they had changed there criteria on players and if garret would have said no to DEz and ciskowski said right out, we have had the same plan in place for a while now.

Sounded like this front office still evaluates using a lot of what parcells preached.

If I had to guess..they will suck in the preseason
