Considering that our OL coach already went there to work him out privately and that Konz is on the scheduled list of people coming to VR, I dont think this matters

I'm hearing a lot about a trade down. Can't say who but it's a team with a beak or hoof in the logo.

Who here would take say 19/34 instead of 14/45

@Jeff_McLane
Just saw Dontari Poe at #Eagles headquarters.

@Jeff_McLane
Poe was walking with #Eagles DL coach Jim Washburn, who introduced Poe as Fletcher Cox.

We're inviting SMU OG Josh LeRibeus to Dallas Day. He's ranked pretty well on CBSSportsline. No idea how he looks though. Anyone have any idea?

NFL.com thinks he could move to C at the next level. hmmmm maybe that explains the interest.

Fletcher Cox moves to #7 overall on CBSSportsline. DeCastro drops to 15.

Konz continues to slide. #48 ranked now.

Cowboys did not show up for Peter Konz Pro-day. A lot of rumors were interested in him........

Apparently untrue:

Cowboys attend workout of Wisconsin center

April, 6, 2012

By Calvin Watkins | ESPNDallas.com

At the start of the draft process, the Cowboys were linked to Stanford guard David DeCastro.

But after spending $30 million to sign two free agent offensive linemen, the Cowboys' attention shifted somewhat to defense in the eyes of draft experts.

Nobody really knows what the Cowboys are going to do with the 14th pick of the first round, but the team attended the private workout of Wisconsin center Peter Konz on Wednesday.

Konz didn't work out at UW's pro day, but the 6-5, 314-pounder looked impressive according to reports.

Guard Kevin Zeitler and lineman Josh Oglesby attended the private workout as well to get measured.

ESPN's Mel Kiper has Zeitler going to the Cowboys in the second round, and Konz going to the Baltimore Ravens at No. 29 in his latest Mock Draft.

Who PFW is hearing which teams like and in what area of each round. edit* have to click the PFW exclusive draft value chart, link.

That's my new mock.

edit: interesting that PFW is hearing that Joe Looney could be a 3rd round pick and Jermaine Kearse going in the middle of round 6. Just like in a previous mock of mine.

I think we should all get Coples out of our heads. Cowboys aren't touching him at #14. If he is still there, he will keep falling.

More I watched Kuechly more I liked him. Plus athleticism. Great play recognition. Played with eyes better than any LB I've evaluated.

@gregcosell
Think Kuechly could play 4-3 OLB or 3-4 ILB. Scheme + position versatile. Many might disagree but I feel better prospect than Hawk(5th-2006)

@gregcosell
Kuechly at times ran down teh seam with TE in coverage. Better athlete on tape than I was led to believe. Terrific closing speed in run game

Soooooo Janoris Jenkins fired his agent, or was fired by his agent - depending on who you believe.

I really think this kid falls to 45, and Jerry turns that card in.
