Soooooo Janoris Jenkins fired his agent, or was fired by his agent - depending on who you believe.

I really think this kid falls to 45, and Jerry turns that card in.

I agree. Jerry would be all over that. And honestly I wouldn't be mad at it... assuming we used our first round pick wisely (OL or DL).

Apparently untrue:

Cowboys attend workout of Wisconsin center

April, 6, 2012

By Calvin Watkins | ESPNDallas.com

At the start of the draft process, the Cowboys were linked to Stanford guard David DeCastro.

But after spending $30 million to sign two free agent offensive linemen, the Cowboys' attention shifted somewhat to defense in the eyes of draft experts.

Nobody really knows what the Cowboys are going to do with the 14th pick of the first round, but the team attended the private workout of Wisconsin center Peter Konz on Wednesday.

Konz didn't work out at UW's pro day, but the 6-5, 314-pounder looked impressive according to reports.

Guard Kevin Zeitler and lineman Josh Oglesby attended the private workout as well to get measured.

ESPN's Mel Kiper has Zeitler going to the Cowboys in the second round, and Konz going to the Baltimore Ravens at No. 29 in his latest Mock Draft.

I wouldn't mind Konz. If that is the case though expect a trade.

Vela is hearing that Cordy Glenn could go ahead of DeCastro. Little buzz on DeCastro. Says he won't fall past pick 18.

Yeah, with someone else's name on it.

He wont be on our draft board, in any round.

I'm sure I'm not alone here, but think Dont'a Hightower's worst position is the one he played most in college, ILB. Better at SLB or 3-4 OLB

@JoshNorris
Should say Hightower was a solid ILB and can definitely play there in NFL to fill a specific thumper role. 1 of the most versatile prospects

Agreed. I'm stone cold lead pipe locked onto Cox or DeCastro at 14.

If we trade down, I could buy into Hightower. If we take anyone on that Alabama defense, I'd prefer him or maybe Kirkpatrick.

Stanford's David DeCastro is just as much a "sure thing" as both Luck and T. Richardson. Worthy of a top-15 pick...even as an interior OL.

From CNNSi:

Dallas Cowboys
1. Defensive end: DeMarcus Ware brings most of the Cowboys’ pressure from his OLB spot. He’d be even better if Dallas could come up with a reliable pass rush on the line. Kenyon Coleman, Jason Hatcher and Marcus Spears are average at best.
2. Outside linebacker: Speaking of Ware, the Cowboys have not been able to fully take advantage of the havoc he creates. They brought back the underachieving Anthony Spencer to play on the left side, but could find a more productive player.
3. Center: Phil Costa has not gotten the job done, and the Bill Nagy-Kevin Kowalski pairing behind him on the depth chart doesn’t provide a big boost.
